A pleasure to do business with!
Ran the owner, is very professional, knowledgable and extremely pleasant. We concluded the transaction which I believe, was fair for both of us. Definitely, if in the future we decide to sell further pieces, we will not hesitate to revisit. (If only for the Espresso! LOL)

I'm a customer for life!
I bought a pair of sheepskin slippers in 2017 and recently replaced them with a new pair. The factory is based in Natal and they couriered the new pair to JHB within a couple of days of receipt of my order. I was not satisfied with 2 aspects of them and notified Don the factory manager, complete with accompanying pics in this regard. They sent a courier to fetch the slippers. After a few days they notified me that they would not attempt to rectify the minor defects and would instead, replace them with a new pair. At their expense they collected the pair and sent the new pair. After sales service and customer satisfaction is at the top of their agenda. Many businesses in South Africa would do well to emulate their policies!

Placing the customer first!
I've been dealing with Takealot for quite a long time and have never encountered any difficulties with them. The delivery service was always on time and their site is simple to navigate. My last purchase was for a Kreepy Krawly pool cleaner which was offered at a great discount. I installed it and it proved to be not working at all. I checked everything ... the pipes, the weir, the filter and found no faults at all. I notified Takealot and they agreed to the return and replacement of the faulty unit. Upon receiving the 2nd one, it proved to be defective as well. It was evident that the Kreepy was not up to standard. They agreed to the return of the unit in exchange for a Voyager pool cleaner instead. The Voyager works beautifully and I will only deal with Takealot..... a business that that conducts business in a professional manner!

Bugman is useless!
We were 'offered' a special rate to fumigate because were are pensioners. Assurance was given that the roaches would be eliminated. After spraying inside and outside, no noticeable decline in the numbers of roaches was evidenced. A few weeks later, after a call to inform them, they arrived to once again proceed with same treatment. That was over a year ago and the roaches are everywhere! Between then and up to now, we have spent a fortune on bug sprays. We recently called in a different company who performed a different spray operation. Within a week, there is a clearly noticeable decline in the roach population. The company stated that if after 2 / 3 weeks if required by us, they would come to treat again.

Full of gas!!!
I needed a gas compliance certificate and received an exorbitant quote from them. Upo advising them that I had a lower quote and could they possibly review their quote, I was rudely advised to rather take the lower quote.

JUNK STATUS!
I bought the KK unit only whiich I returned 3 days later and was given a new replacement unit. It too, was a shocking, non operating product. Managed to get a full refund and bought the Voyager pool cleaner. It works like a dream...fast and highly efficient. Don't waste time or money on Kreepy Fooly..it's a ripoff and a piece of junk!!

Great service.
I required a repair to a microwave oven. It was 'spitting' sparks inside when in operation. I contacted Appliance Repair King...spoke to Mark who set a time and sate convenient to me. Willem came and within 2 minutes had located the problem. They repaired the unit within a half hour...it was tested to my satisfaction. Great service and technicians who knew what they were doing! Definitely use them again in future, as they stated that they are capable of attending most household electronic appliances.!
