I purchased a Hisense TV from Fair Price, Alex Mall in February 2025, and I have been extremely disappointed with the quality. The TV frequently controls itself, switches off unexpectedly, and changes channels on its own. I have logged three service calls, but the problem persists, which has caused me considerable frustration and inconvenience. On Saturday, the issue was especially severe while I was trying to watch a live sports game — it completely ruined the experience. I expected better quality and service from Hisense. I am sharing this review to warn potential buyers and to urge Hisense to resolve these persistent issues promptly, either through repair or replacement.
Disappointing Experience with Fair Price Furniture – Poor Quality and Terrible After-Sales Service I purchased several household items from Fair Price Furniture in Alex Mall in January 2025, spending almost R30,000, and it's been nothing short of a nightmare. While a few items are holding up, the majority have serious defects that started showing within months, and their customer service has been utterly useless in resolving them. Here's a breakdown of what I bought and the issues: 1. Fridge - This is one of the few items working fine so far, no complaints here. 2. Microwave - Also functioning okay for now. 3. Washing Machine - Still operational without major problems. 4. Couch - The seats are already starting to sag and flatten out after just a few months of normal use. It's uncomfortable and looks worn out way too soon for the price. 5. Chest of Drawers - This was a disaster from early on. By March 2025, it was already falling apart – drawers wouldn't close properly and kept coming off the tracks. I reported it, and they sent a technician, but the "fix" did nothing. Even today, in November 2025, it's a complete mess, the drawers are literally sitting on the floor because the unit is unstable and unusable. 6. Hisense TV - This has been the worst. It's malfunctioning badly – it turns on/off by itself, changes channels randomly, and acts like it's possessed. Hisense technicians have come out twice already, but the same issues persist. No resolution, and I'm stuck with a faulty TV that's frustrating to use. 7. TV Stand - The doors detached almost immediately after assembly. They're hanging off or completely loose, making the whole thing look cheap and unstable. For the amount I spent, I expected durable, quality products, but instead, I've got a home full of subpar furniture that's breaking down prematurely isn't just poor quality control, it's blatant disregard for customers.

I've ordered 2 items from Allure-Nest on the 25th and only one item was delivered on the 7th November and I'm still waiting for the other item. Currently their website is not working and I'm unable to track my order. what a **** and the high waist tight that I've order is not even quality. Bad Bad Bad
On the 11th July 2023 i went to the Baby City woodmead to ask for an exchange, and to my surprise a male (lucky him because i forgot his name) he refused to assist me claiming that an item that i wanted to return was dirty, and it as a mark that you have to put on your spectacles to see it so it was even not visible enough for me to notice it, well I told the guy that I got the baby item as a gift and i would like to return it and I told him that what if it the mark was there when it was bought? and his response was "mam all our item are clean and that one is dirty and no one will buy it" and the way I was so angry I saved my comments and walked out of the store. To cut the login story short , my husband went to Baby City Northgate and they exchanged for him without any hustle. I was disappointed by his attitude and response, please take your employees to attend customer support trainings. and I wanted to buy more but then I just saved my money and went to a better Baby City where they value their customers. I contacted liquid capital again on the 18th August 2020, I spoke to Marian and she promised to phone me back as she was taking forever to get someone who can assist me. So even today I'm still waiting for my refund since I've cancelled my plan in May. So disappointing and I will never recommend anyone to them.
I've cancelled my plan in May 2020, and I was promised a refund....even to date I'm still waiting and they have empty promises as I've tried to contact them several times with no assistance just empty promises. So disappointing!!!
<p>it was on a Friday morning @ 06:15 when i arrived at the KFC (Alex Mall). I went through the drive way and the lady took my order via the first window and took my order, then she asked me to proceed to the 3rd window. When i arrive at the 3rd window there was no one, i waited for atlist 3 min until i had to wave my hand so tht someone can come and assist me. Then the other lady whom i didint place an order to , asked me to go to the second window, then i didi so, but unfortunately when i arrice at the second windo i found no one. Then i had to hoot and knock on the window and there was no one. Thn i had to walk out of the car and go back to the 3rd window were eventually i found the lady who took my order then she asked me to come and pay on the 3rd window. When i arrive at the 3rd window she told me that the speedpoint is not working so i have to come insode and pay that was about 06:40. Then i went inside and she again asked me to place and order from scratch , and the end my order was not eben complete. When i report to the manager , he just stood there and sympathise with me and did nothing. So dissapointing and its not for the first time i experience this bad and ridiculouse service, it's either its a wrong order or they take time to assist.</p>
<p>I've contacted miway for assistance and in 15 minutes they came and attended my quiry, Lethabo was friendly ove the phone and she made sure that she updateds me on the travelling time of the person who assisted me. and David (who jump started my car) was fiendly and quick to respond to my quiry and he even gave me advises of how to go about it when i experince the same issue.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you so much and i am a happy customer :)</p>
