I am very disappointed in the Telkom cellphone insurance. My mother has two phones,she took with a contract of 2 years(almost finished this year) and both insured with telkom insurance. On the 23rd of February she was pick-pocketed. On the 25th the phone was report and all documents were submitted. Telkom insurance has been giving her run arounds,promising her they will give her feedack before the end of business day since two weeks ago. Everytime we call there's no feedback,sometimes we cant even reach them. We spoke to Hanny a month ago and until this day no feedback. hanny@adminplus.co.za and telkomclaims@adminplus.co.za
I am writing this with a heavy heart. My mother has been paying NTS catering social since 2020,not defaulting. Lastyear November she was admitted at hospital,ICU. Intubated,sedated and paralyzed.She was off the tubes this year January and discharged in February. Nevertheless,I have tried multiple tines to go pay for the social and unfortunately they were closed,had a cellphone number on the door and account number. I live in Westrand and this branch is in Mamelodi. I once asked for their accoung number and they said they dont have because it is little money,they dont want to work at a loss. I had the fraustations of seeing my mother in hospital,in a critical condition and also paying for the stokvel. Three days ago, I went to the branch with my mother,wanting to pay the owing amount and current,we explained our situation and to our surprise they told us the policy has lapsed. We called the manager and wow,she confidently told my mom that she is not the first person to get sick,it doesnt start with her. Her and her friend were so rude to my mother over the phone, they made a joke out of her condition and situation. My mother has congestive cardiac failure,she has been crying since...We love to support black businesses but if this is how our fellow people will be treating us then to hell with their businesses. If anyone would like to join NTS catering company/stokvel,please rather invest your money into something positive. We have 4 years of throwing money down the drain. I wish this company can collapse in all their branches. They dont build a community,they destroy it and the manager is nothing but a bully who even bullies her employees.
Three weeks ago I was assisted to move from Westrand to Pretoria by Red truck company. I was so excited because the guys gave excellent service. Little did I know that they stole my husband's watch,my work uniform jumpsuit, work uniform pants(combact), my son's expensive shoes, my husband's new electric toothbrush(in a box). I called the company line multiple times,for two weeks they have been telling me that the manager is not here,they will call me back before they knockoff with feedback. When I called the driver,he told me that I shouldnt have trusted them with important valuable,I should have transported them with my personnal car. I am so furious because not only did they ***** from me,they also stole my work things. I advice anyone who would want to use this company not to. They are very fast in *****ing,you wont even notice until you unpack and the company is aware and condoning this act because when you report they do run arounds and I have paid their stupid insurance,they are now nowhere to be found. I have lost my things and life goes on for them.
Sometime lastyear I went to Greenlight Academy in Randfontein,it is a private school,asking to view the school because I have interest in enrolling my child,for more than five times they gave me run arounds and eventually managed to trick me to pay. A lady in the office,with thick,ugly makeup,speaking broken english that even her colleagues tease,she told me they are running out of space,I should pay quickly to book space,then I can view the school before the school closes in December. On the day we agreed on I went there and to my surprise I was told the caretaker left with the keys. In January when I finally viewed the school I saw a mess,that school looks like a unmantained public toilet,three days before schools reopen they are painting,the yard smells like pee,the classes are in the dark,even my child was so traumatised and he cried he doesnt want to go there. I called,requesting refund,they adviced me to write an email of cancellation,which I did,now their story changes,they tell me I am not getting my R2000 deposit,R1400 January school fees and R1400 December school fees.They are a ****,they lure people into paying R4800 before they can view the school because they know that thing is not even supposed to be a school.
I am so disappointed with the service at Virgin Active,Keywest branch. I joined gym in January 2023,towards month end,I was promised a gift,I asked if I can get a bag or a bottle for me and my husband,since we both joined same time,they promised to get for us before they signed us up. Part of what they promised before we joined was a private instructor for free in the first 30 days for two weeks. After joining,I did communicate with a private instructor and to my surprise he said its a lie,they do not give two weeks free trial,we pay for an instructor,he even sent me the pricelist. As I speak today,three months after joining gym, me and my husband are not even motivated to go to gym,we do not know how to use the gym equipment,what to do and which programs best suit us. We joined and now we just have to figure things out ourselves in there. There's barely people on the machines to help us,if we dont ask other people who gym there to show us then we are stuck trying to figure it out ourselves. The only people you will find on the ground is the cleaner staff,Godbless them they are always making sure the place is clean,but as for the instructors,they are nowhere to be found. We do see private instructors from time to time,but as soon as you speak to them they tell you about their fee,so basically its so useless even Planet Fitness is 10 times better than it. We are even considering canceling our memberships and going to join Planet Fitness.
Lastyear,in August to be excact I opened an AVBOB funeral policy, on the 21 September,I called,spoke to Migresh Adams,I told her I woulf like to cancel my policy and I was still in the 30days period of cancelation until the 28 September 2022.She said I must send her an email,of which I did,then she will cancel it. Now 7 months later,the policy is still debiting on my persal, I last spoke to someone else on the 28 January 2023,they said it is still active but they will cancel it. I am so disappointed and I even tell anyone who has interest in joining AVBOB not to do it because they mislead clients and the service is even bad.Even when the representatives come to my workplace or anywhere to do their advertising I chase them away and tell everyone about the experience I am currently having wuth them,so they don't find themselves in a similar situation.I am now stuck with a policy,paying for it and for some reason they cannot even close it. USELESS COMPANY INDEED!!!
I am dissatisfied with the service at FILA clothing store in Atterbury Value mart. In November 2022 I went into the store to purchase clothes for my son,the entire time the male rep at the till point was talking to his friend from another store closeby,while assisting me,no greetings,no communication whatsoever. His concern was this friend of his who kept reminding him about shoes he stored at the back for him until this friend gets paid,so he can come buy them. I let that pass. On the 11 January 2023 I went back to the store,the attitude of the ladies I found in there made me realise why I did not find any customers in the store.I found them ill talking about Mug&Bean manager(across their store),they were so noisy,talking about how racist he is. It made made me so uncomfortable as a customer being in a store of people who are ill talking someone else and making so much noise about it,as if we are in a tarven,but I let it pass. Little did I know that they will display tge same attitude to me. I was exchanging some items,the lady on the counter said they cannot assist in that I need to wait for the manager to come back from leave to assist,as there is a certain code he has. I argued until I told them I am going to report the incident as I have called before I went into the store and the stand in manager(which is the lady that I found at the counter) said she will be able to assist. While I was talking to that lady the was another one who kept rubbing it in that I must come back after 2 weeks,they cannot help. I am so disappointed with the service I received there and never ever will I ever go back into that store.
I am not happy with the SA Homeloans insurance, I am even canceling the whole plan, moving to something better, I had already discovered thru a friend. Three weeks ago I contacted them regarding a claim of a leaking gyser, I was sent an sms that they will send a plumber to assess it on that very same day, my fiancé had to knockoff from work to go wait for that plumber who never showed up and didn't even bother to communicate. A week later I am send the very same sms, with a different date now, I had to skip work to wait for them and still they did not show up on the date they gave me and didn't communicate once more. Today they called arranging for the plumber to come, unfortunately no one was home and because they kept us waiting two times already, not even communicating none of us could take a day off from work to wait for people who do not even respect other people's time. From November 2021 we have been up to date with our premiums, but when they have to deliver services they are unreliable. I am truly disappointed and I would never recommend anyone to have an insurance with them, rather check with other companies that are more reliable. A gyser that has been leaking for over 3 weeks now, spoilt the walls while we are waiting for them to honor their appointments and come assess so they can start fixing, now even the walls r getting damaged and the ceiling and I will be told its another claim that will need its own amount of access because 3 weeks ago when I was initially waiting for them I claimed only a gyser. BAD SERVICE!
Two months ago I went into Old Mutual in Mamelodi, Mams Mall in Pretoria to be exact, to enquire about a life cover policy. I was assisted by a financial advisor in there, who never bothered to tell me his name. He advices me that a nurse will need to make arrangements with me to do blood tests and the policy will only be effective after the tests results. Indeed a nurse called me two times trying to arrange to meet, while enquiring I opened a policy elsewhere because I found them cheaper. Weeks ago I received documents that the policy at Old mutual was opened but to my surprise I did not consent for them to continue with the process and the cover amount had changed. I immediately went into the branch and tried to get them to close it but unfortunately listening skill lacks in that branch or they are clearly chasing sales. The lady I found at the front desk pretending to be listening, took my ID, asked for my fingerprints several times, then gave me some paper with login details and told me I can use that to go online, I became furious because clearly she was opening something else without my convent when I came to solve the same matter. When I finally went to the person that opened the policy, he requested I come with a bank statement to close the policy, I immediately left and never returned because I was annoyed because he is not showing any remorse for opening the policy without my consent and also having trust issues. I then went to a different branch wanting to open a fraud case, unfortunately they spoke to me and asked that I do not do that but atleast they assisted me in closing the policy. I was letting it go but a part of me felt I need to write this because if people like me do not report fraudulent activities like this a lot of people will suffer in the hands of people we trust. I did not get the financial advisor's name but at a different branch that assisted me in closing the policy I heard that they said he is Esrom. Please investigate this matter and sort it out.
On the 4th of March(yesterday) I walked into Spar in Gezina, Les Marais Spar to be excact and I was very disappointed in the manager. I bought things that were almost R500 and as I was doing my shopping, I saw a security guard, I asked him if I can use a toilet as I was very pressed, he told me to ask the manager who was sitting at customer center, I left my things in the trolley and went to him to ask for a toilet, he rudely said he doesn't have public toilets, I must go use the toilets at KFC I went back to my trolley and proceeded to stand in line and quickly pay so I can look for a toilet elsewhere. While I was in line I saw how he is so polite, helpful and friendly to white people. I guess I did not deserve his respect because I am black If Spar Les Marais is only serving white people I suggest they make it public knowledge because I refuse to be treated less human than a white person because I am black Apart from the rude manager, everyone else in the shop was kind, it was just unfortunate they could not assist me with a toilet, they kept telling me to ask him because he is the one who has the keys. One of the ladies that overhead me speak even said she does not understand why he refuses to let me use the toilet when he allows other white people to use it and that was when I knew that I was not overthinking, he is really racist and his black staff is afraid to speak up, they rather tell me even Can this be sorted with other seniors please
