I sent Shandu my design of the wingback chairs I want on Monday morning (5 January 2026) on their WhatsApp. They gave me a price that I was happy with and I proceeded with payment because I had informed them that I urgently need the chairs for a function that I have on Tuesday the 13th. Fast forward, 5 days later (10 January 2026), which was yesterday, I got my order delivered around 14:30. Talk about super fast delivery! They also got my chairs right by using the material on the picture I sent to them and I must highlight that overall, I am a happy customer because of the fast delivery, their service, the comfort and quality of the material used on my wingback chairs. Job well done!

THEY TOLD ME THAT THE 4KG IS OUT OF STOCK SO I CAN ONLY GET ONE 2KG SUBSTITUTE. THEY LADY WHO WAS ASSISTING ME DROPPED THE CALL BECAUSE SHE TOLD ME THAT I AM FINISHING HER AIRTIME. THE APP TAKES AN EXTRA 10% OF YOUR ORDER IN CASE THEY NEED TO SUBSTITUTE YOUR ITEM. WHEN THE ITEM IS NOT THERE THEN THEY TELL YOU TO WAIT 7 TO 14 WORKING DAYS. IMAGINE HOW ****ED YOU WILL BE IF YOU USE YOUR LAST MONEY. I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR ALMOST AN HOUR TRYING TO GET HOLD OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER EVER IN LIFE ORDER FROM THIS APP EVER AGAIN! I received the most disturbing and disgusting service as one of the loyal customers from Texamo Spur, The Glen Shopping Mall, Johannesburg South. I called twice approximately at 11:27 and 13:20. I spoke to two ladies. The first lady I spoke to I asked her to confirm what's the total amount for my vouchers because I got an additional voucher for my birthday. They both confirmed that the vouchers are worth a total of R150. I then called the second time to place my order of The Double Pattty Burger Meal for collection. I even went as far as confirming my alternative contact number with the lady. To my disbelief and shock, upon arrival I was told that I need to pay R50 because one of the vouchers is for another different Spur branch which is in Golden Falls, Columbine Avenue. First and foremost, I wasted my fuel and time and airtime throughout the whole entire process. R50 is nothing. Secondly I asked the lady why didn't she call me to tell me because I do not have any banking apps as I have a new phone and I left all my cards at home. I even asked her why didn't she double check to inform me after I gave and confirmed all my relevant details. Her response was just a lousy and arrogant "Sorry." This is totally unacceptable and head office needs to attend to this and train their staff. The waitresses name was Lenelwo or Lenelwa. I have been a loyal and faithful customer for the Spur Group for an enormous amount of years. No one must just make an order and assume that the customer will pay the balance without even confirming with the customer. That is totally unacceptable and *********.
I am utterly disgusted and disappointed in the level of customer service I have received from Mercantile Bank and the business consultant Akhona Yalo who has been assisting me with the application. I have been sending countless emails for feedback and there is no response whatsoever from the consultant. It's delay after delay and this is totally unacceptable. The online docu sign up process is an entire disaster. I am utterly disappointed as I have closed my current business account hoping that the Mercantile business account will be up and running and now everything is on hold. This is wrong and the consultant needs to do her job and stop making me feel like I am not important as a potential client.
I called the Debonairs Rosettenville branch. Spoke to Sandile or Sanele. Took my order and all was good to go. I then received an SMS saying that my order is ready outside. A few minutes later the driver calls me and says that he is at a wrong location. I then communicate with the driver and give him my correct address and also send him an SMS to confirm my address. To cut the long story short, the Rosettenville branch captured a street name that doesn't even exist. The manager then tells me that I must give him some time for him to prepare another pizza. Bare in mind that my pizza arrived cold and I waited ages for dinner to arrive. I even used my own airtime to liaise with the manager and he tried by all means to beat around the Bush and not make me happy. I took pictures of the driver registration plate and also of the receipt with the wrong non existant address. I am not happy with how the matter was handled as my family and I had to settle for second best and have cold pizza. Poor service and bad handling from the manager.
I am deeply concerned and extremely ****ed off and I want to **** up the driver from Uber. The driver was rude and drunk. He reversed his car and stopped in the middle of the road, causing traffic and then told my wife and I to get out of his car. He left us in the middle of nowhere and it was very cold and dark. To add to that, we were left stranded opposite a bush thus we had to walk to a place of safety. I request that this matter be resolved urgently as I will not rest until the driver pays for his bull****.
