The hospitality shown by staff begins with a warm welcome from the moment you arrive. Every person attending to you is well versed in Five Star Restaurant Etiquette. It was a difficult task to choose from the mouth watering menu. My husband and I are new in the area and celebrated our Wedding Anniversary here, on a whim. Our final analysis is, even though it's expensive, we praise the Chef and kitchen staff for the excellent cuisine. As pensioners we're saving for our next celebration! Thank you Clico for our best restaurant experience.
We were working through tasks to make our apartment home and I was a little CovidCrazy with anxiety and stress when a water leak became apparent, worsening and forming pools under the new fridge and even causing water stains in a cupboard. To establish the source we began a process of elimination and finally concluded that the most recent installation was the culprit. We called the Repairer and hysterically demanded urgent attention for this mistake. One thing remains true. When you make an incorrect assumption you draw the wrong conclusion. A Service Team was sent to investigate and found that the installation done by the Bergen's Technician was PERFECTLY SOUND! The problem was the plumbing for the dishwasher which they had nothing to do with. No problem. The leaking 'tap' was fixed immediately. It was amazing that the three gentlemen sent to resolve the issue remained cool, calm and collected in the face of extreme provocation. Their professionalism, efficiency and pride in their workmanship should be acknowledged and praised. My husband and I are extremely grateful to Mark and his Technical Team from Bergen's Appliance and Repairs for service and more especially for their After Sales Service. We can only give them our sincere gratitude and thanks for their prompt rescue. Thanks again. Three cheers and hip hip hooray!!!!
This company was recommended to us. What a gift. Their Technician, Wiseman, arrived at our door and greeted us with a beaming smile. He worked smartly, efficiently and with great professionalism. Wiseman's work ethic has to be admired and congratulated. The work done was excellent. From the phone call to book the service, until the invoice was presented (on request) was perfect. Another surprise was the extremely reasonable charges rendered. Thank you. What a great Brand Ambassador Wiseman is. A rare treasure.
The trauma of one of life's challenges, moving home, was considerably lessened by Master Movers. This company came our way by a previous client of theirs. Now it is our absolute pleasure to highly recommend this company. From the first phone contact with Atu, then Odette in accounts department, Fidelus and the team responsible for the packing and collection to their storage facility are a credit and great Brand Ambassadors for Master Movers. We have no hesitation in recommending this company and it's a pleasure and a duty to do so. In our opinion.
The receptionist who answered the phone today at the Law Society, I've been trying for days already, abruptly directed me to the Legal Council Office. Sadly the service there is even worse. Voice prompts directed me to ext. 5112. After waiting several replays of the tuneless hold diversion, I ended the call. Phoned again and tried a different option which was ext. 5100. Exactly the same experience. What is the purpose of these services, which in reality don't exist? If no stars was an option, that would be my choice. Bear in mind that I've wasted at least fifteen minutes of my pay-as-you-go airtime!
Discovery Vaccination Centre Hi. We were privileged to get the call and went to the Sandton premises. Discovery Health deserve to be congratulated on the excellent organisation and efficiency with which they organised the process. It was painless and as fast as humanly possible. They should make a template for all vaccination centres to follow. It would be a great benefit to everyone and speed up the roll out significantly. Thank you Discovery Health.
Hi. We're not yet convinced to convert to fiber for our data usage. Telkom has been our provider for many years. The contract we were on was expiring and just in time Telkom had a similar deal to the one we were on for nearly R150 cheaper. What a bargain. Since providers now roll over unused data, our needs are met with something to spare. We love our simcard option. Also we still use the previous router. Wish someone could tell us where to recycle all discarded equipment so that we don't add to the electronic pollution.
Recently I wondered what cleaning tools are indispensable to me and must be schlepped with when we finally are able to move to a retirement village. The following three products are my absolute best: 1. Floorwiz Spin Tech Mop, with a round bucket. I bought this when it first came out about a decade ago. Mop heads are easily replaceable. Bucket still going strong. The handle been replacement once. Bleach compatible. Easy and fast to use. 2. Verimark Floorwiz Pro & Brush attachment. After the sponge head 'melted' due to bleach, it was replaced by Verimark with the warning that bleach was the issue. Love to use this on tiles, alternation with the Spin Tech Mop. 3. Over the years I've also bought the Floorwiz 2-in-1 Mop with spare Fibre heads. Finally the time came to replace the handle to make use of the spares. That's when I found the Kibo Microfibre Mop. My husband is inclined to read the small print and discovered that it can be washed 400 times in a washing machine before it becomes useless. So far, I've only used it as a dry mop to clean dust off wooden floors. The result is astounding. We're very happy with this new addition.
Call Centre - City of Johannesburg "All queries should be channelled through the call centre, Joburg Connect, which can be contacted 24 hours, seven days a week, 0860 56 28 74." In which universe? for the past six months at least I've managed to get past the second prompt which relays my call to an extension that turns into some unmelodic sound. I'm paying for this call which has no time limit. The result is that month after month, the amount I'm paying for my W&L is based on the last recorded amount given, plus an additional R200 to make sure not to run into possible non-payment issues later. Either make the Joburg Call Centre Work or remove this service and edit the WebSite accordingly. It's a disgrace and a lie to call Johannesburg a "World Class City". The skimpily repaired potholes that churn up during rain and turn into ****as are another sore point. Stop spending your time and our money on deciding how much you should be paid for non-delivery of services and bonuses for non-performance of duties. Shape Up or Ship Out. Thanks to Covid tolerance of shoddy work and NO SERVICE DELIVERY is exhausted! And stop wasting my time and phone money on a Voice Message that asks me to answer two questions at the end of the call. Let me save you the bother: 1. The Voice Message has long past it's best by date. By at least six months if my experience is anything to go by; and 2. What service are you purporting to deliver? IF NO STAR WAS AN OPTION, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN MY CHOICE!
This morning I participated in a Telkom survey to improve their clients' experience. This was easy to do. My husband and I easily agreed that we are happy with the Telkom products we use. To date it's been a pleasure and problem free as we are easily able to access assistance at the Norwood Mall. Staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. The products we use are affordable.
