I bought cast iron pans at Takealot and when I collected the pans at their pick up point, my parcel could not be found for 30 minutes and the. This was after a long day at the office got home and there is a pan missing. I tried to find a call centre number and it keeps giving me option to log on the site. They have now logged it and returned the pans now still waiting for refund. I was told that I can have a refund to the same method of payment or my takealot account. I originally said the same method, then email for my takealot account to be credited and now I am being told they can't. It's one inconvenience after the other will rather use Amazon....
Don't ever use this company they are the biggest ****mers. They call non stop for payment even before the work is done and when they return your unit there are missing parts you paid & then they ignore your calls... The are basically *******
Stay far away from Telkom, they are the most hopeless service provider ever. I am definitely going to cancel all 5 my lines. When I opened my accounts they activated to different account numbers. When I queried they merged the two accounts and they did the final deductions, now my lines are suspended over a 28 cents because it is in arrears, on the account which is supposed to be cancelled, but they deducted the money. How the hell??? Issue, after issue with Telkom do not open contracts with them!!
Worst service ever, i have been on the receiving end of the rudest, most disrepectful and no customer care staff you can ever imagine. I called in and upgrade my line on the 18th with a Joshua Du Plessis and asked that the phone be delivered t my work address, he had it delivered it to my work address. I then tried to have it delivered to my work address and had issues with that, tride to cancel the upgrade and Joshua Du Plessis apparently is the only one who can cancel. I have literally between the retentions department, sales and the order follow up department spoke to 20 people, each person giving me a different story and i lost my temper a few times, as one told me he is refusing to take my ID number, the others had attitudes. I have asked to speak to Management, no one calls back. I have tried to cancel the line and move to prepaid and I kept being promised that they will sort my query and nothing. Aparently only Joshua Du Plessis has the power in the entire Telkom to cancel and upgrade? So i asked what happens if he dies? I was told, they are not sure what the procedure is. Really?????? Its like the mafia and the managment is the Dons, untouchable. I have been googling complaints and have found nothing. Don't waste your time Telkom is the worst network and I will be cancelling all 4 my lines with them.
So the truama continues, I was called now and told that a bond that was supposed to be closed in 2020 after my fathers death was not done. Although all the documenation was sent to an Arlene De Wet and now being told that the one department recieved my fathers documentaion and the other did not??? Aparently they paid a balance of R 1269.69, but did not cancel the bond, although this was asked. Now there is a balance of R 18 222.11, I was told that they will reverse some premiums, but we will have a balance and they might write it off. This we need to wait and see, it MIGHT be revesed, MIGHT?? It was enough that my father was taken away suddedly and we finally start recovering from this heart crushing event, but now STANDARD BANK, wants us to pay for something they were supposed to have closed????? On top the stress of loosing my father, my husband lost his job due to covid, my mother is a pensioner and i am the only one working. How do they expect us to pay, there was no correspondence from them advising us of anything. We are being ****** blind and our hands are tied. Honestly cant deal with this, i feel like I am having a nervous breakdown. They dont care, they think it is as Might. Oh God, ***?????? If you do have any kind of bond or insurance or anything with Standard Bank, please rather rethink your choice. You entrust your families well being to these people and they royal ***** them, is this what you want fot your family. Imagine your daughter was going through this, imagine entrusting Standard Bank with making sure your affairs are seen too and this is what they cause your daughters mental health to sink too? To tear filled rant on Hello Peter. Would you be able to rest peacefully??? I honestly cant believe this :-(
My father passed away in June 2020 and parents had a home loan which they paid up in April 2020. Just before hisdeath we found out that there was still a balance and we then email them about this and they did nothing about it, he then died and the insurance on the loan was supposed to cover anything outstansing. We submitted all the documentation and now to find out it is still open when my mother tried to move the property full found out that the account is still open. It was a roller coaster dealing with Standard Bank, I emailed the complaints department more than a week ago and still no reply. I would urge you not to deal with Standard Bank, as when it is time to claim no one tries to help you, you get sent from Pillar to Post with no resolving your issue and in a time of grieving, is not what you need!
I wish a rating of nothing can be given to Telkom, like Eskom another company not worth anything. Since Tuesday the 10 January 2023, our company lines have been down. We have logged queries for the last four days and the issue has not been resolved. Firstly most of the staff I have spoken to have no phone etiquette and I was wondering what they were doing there. One the one call there were dogs barking, cars driving past and clearly working from home is not helping this useless company. I have trying for days to speak a manager, the one day I was sent back que held for 20 minutes before giving, which each call there was an excuse, today it was the Manager is on leave, really???? Telkom says they can't do anthiny to rectify the issues and we need to wait for their 3rd party technician and the technician says that he needs to wait for Telkom, in the meantime we can make or receives calls for 99.98% of the time. Aparantley there is an issue that the exchange with the back up battery due to load shedding and it takes long to go and then works for litteraly 1 call then is done for the rest of the day. This review is slightly different, my husband was an independent representative for Sally Williams. When he applied for the position, he was made to believe he was the only rep in Cape Town servicing the independents. When he got the job then found out that there was a rep, who had all the bigger stores, which included the only whole sale stores. They gave him deactivated stores which was due to their lack of customer service, he struggled to get the stores back on board. He agreement states that he will have a basic for 5 months then over to commission, no probation periods noted. He was even told by the sales manager that If he needed more time they would extend for another month. This however was not the cause, although the agreement states one month month notice they have now terminated his agreement with immediate affect, as of the 14 July 2022 and they are ignoring his email request for the final salary. They accused him of having other employment and using their resources, but this is not the case. This company has no business ethics and should be boycotted. My husband went to head offices and met with buyers and if you are in this trade you will know only the sales manager can deal with these buyers and my husband asked the sales manager to assist with this and he kept stalling, so how are you supposed to make sales with no support? The sales manager instead of assisting with coming up with deals rather left it up to the reps and when they gave feedback he asked what they would get out of the deal, really? The customer I would think! So clearly they have no business ethics to speak or care about the lively hoods of their independent reps, as it clearly looks like they will not be paying his final salary.
Please stay far away from Scorpoin Legal, their staff is unsympathetic and incompetent. They are worse that Clientele legal and FNB Legal. I have been trying to find a liable legal protection, but when I called Scorpion Legal they could not resolve my query and I was upset as you can imagine. They then kept harassing me with phone calls after I told them that I don't want to speak about a complaint as it was useless and I said that they should stop calling me as I am going to cancel and but did not submit a formal cancellation as I was upset and did not want to make a decision there. Only now to find out the cancelled the policy without my consent or notifying me. Total waist, do not sign up with them
Please do not take out a loan from Station finance they are crooks. When you sign up a loan with them, they deduct beforehand and refuse to pay back your money. Do not take out loans with Feroza , she is eager to help you, but when she messes up she pretends her whats app is not working and ignores your calls.
