I really am starting to believe the reviews about OnAir TV being a **** company. For the past few weeks I've had very nasty interactions with them attempting to cancel my subscription with them, & it is nothing short of being hellish. They keep pestering me for the same thing even after I've been sent from pillar to post for payments I made a long time ago. They've even gone as far as handing my "unpaid" account over to their so-called collections department which I just think is repulsive to say the least. My name is tarnished now due to their disgusting negligence with keeping the information up to date. OnAir TV is the worst company I've ever had to deal with in my ENTIRE life, & I regret ever signing up for a subscription with them. So disgusting!😡
I remember last year when I bought a new vehicle and I requested a quote from Outsurance. My plea to the company is that they must stop misleading people on how low their premiums are. I was quoted well beyond what I was willing to pay for comprehensive insurance on my new vehicle. Not only that, but when I asked the representative I had been on the phone with, he told me that I will be penalised because I had claimed that year for a vehicle accident that was not even of my doing. My vehicle had been parked in a parking lot & basically it was a hit & run because when I had come back to my vehicle, somebody had rammed into it & never bothered to report it. What were I supposed to do in that situation? Leave my car in a state of damage just because I do want to be penalised on future insurance quotes? It is really disheartening for most of us who actually do take good care of our vehicles at all times & have to bear the grunt when we need help. My question is; what is the purpose of having insurance therefore? It leaves little wonder why most people do not have vehicle insurance; it is too expensive; for unrealistic terms & conditions as well. They really need to change their business model. Oh, & by the way, I am currently paying less than R1700 for my current new SUV vehicle. Go figure!
People beware, Onair Tv will bleed you dry, & make you feel like a ******** if you don't pay for whatever reason. I wish I had read other people's reviews of the establishment sooner, & everything they say about them is absolutely TRUE. Run the other way!
The new Showmax is so flawed, it seems to get worse by the day. Not only can't I cast my phone to my TV because it gives an error, but it is generally slow or non-responsive to some inputs. The other day I wanted to display English subtitles watching one of the shows, I could only get them in isiZulu...like what the hell!? Multichannel really dropped the ball with this new version...& mind you we have to pay for it at the end of it all. Really Multichoice!!!!
People should be careful of using the Old Mutual in kwaDukuza Mall in Stanger. I withdrew some cash & then the ATM dispensed a portion of my money & reversed some of it again, but withheld the rest. My suspicion is that the ATM is rigged because the bank staff isn't even that helpful in trying to solve my problem, as if I have money to give away like that. They should check & fix their machines because we end up being victims of their negligence. I'm so livid!
I've had my share of bad experiences & the worst customer service, but none like the one we are currently experiencing at Bidvest McCarthy Renault Umhlanga. The staff doesn't even pretend to care to check on you, let alone update you on what the progress is on your vehicle. They simply just couldn't be bothered. This is one dealership that I would NOT recommend to anyone, you'd just be coming here for the view of Gateway.
Thank you to the friendliest staff at kwaDukuza Mall branch for your hospitality while purchasing my spectacles. I was kept up-to-date with my order timeously. You guys are amazing. You underpromised & overdelivered. Keep up the great work.🙌🏾
This is a very beautiful hotel, & have stayed there quite a few times, but what I cannot stand is hotel staff that's rude to guests. The level of service unfortunately at Hluhluwe in KZN should definitely be improved. Sometimes require something & they treat you like they're doing YOU a favour by staying there. One male Indian staff member has the audacity to even speak to a guest whilst being on the phone...what is that? I take how I'm treated at a place very seriously, & this, was just one of the many bad experiences I've had. Treat guests with the utmost respect & they will respect you back... it's THAT simple. Don't favour guests over other guests just because you like them, every guest should be treated with the same respect... otherwise I won't stop writing these reviews & making it known just how bad a service you're likely to receive. Change ANEW HLUHLUWE...change!!!!
I've done a bit of research with reviews on this Pharmacy viz. Pharmacy Direct in Hluhluwe KZN. I'm so surprised by most people giving praises, unless it was just our bad luck with my fiance whilst on holiday recently. The staff is so uninterested in going out of their way to help you. Dare I say that the racist tendencies displayed by some of the staff really left me irate because I come from a place where there's a general sense of getting along, & no discrimination of any sort. As a customer I find very unprofessional & disrespectful that you would be told to "put an item back where you found it" because there's "no staff" to do that. What an insult in this day & age because I highly doubt that if it were another fellow white person, that they would have received the same treatment. Nobody ever wants to admit to racism but what my fiance & I experienced, is blatant racism, & I don't care what other people may conclude about that. There are ways of communicating something without being harsh nor show superiority to other people different than yourself. This is by far something that always wields its ugly head now & again, & just shows just how divided this country still is.
I am guessing that it really is true that we as customers do get lied to from time to time regarding the nature of our vehicles "faults". I've never dodged a bullet like I have regarding the following comments I'm about to make. Alpine VW quoted me an amount a little shy of R10 000 to replace what in their opinion was the condenser of the air conditioning system on my vehicle. Yes something did happen with my car's air conditioner, & this is where we fall victim to paying large amounts of money, sometimes for things that don't even need replacing as we place all our trust & confidence in these people. To be honest, I didn't have R10 000 to do the job they were insisting had to be done. I drove for months in excruciating heat in a car that had an air conditioner that didn't work. But then the stubborn part of me said "let me just get a second opinion on this". I went to South Coast VW in Margate (God bless them), they took the time to actually check for me & get to the real source of the problem. I was taken aback by their findings, which was that they found no leaks, anywhere throughout the whole unit. They just regassed & put some special liquid or something that would indicate if there were leaks anywhere over time, & they told me to just monitor it & should I have any problems I should take it back to them so they would investigate further, & in all this I never even paid a dime!. My air conditioner has worked perfectly since then, been a full 3 weeks so far & still going strong. Now i ask myself how at Alpine, they arrived at the decision that it was my condenser that needs replacing? Mind you, same establishment, different findings. I'm no expert, but the level of professionalism here is world's apart. And I can't help also to think that we as customers get scammed by these institutions, paying for things we never should have paid for in the first place. Wow Alpine VW, I will NEVER trust you with my vehicle ever again! Thank heavens I didn't purchase my vehicle from you, I just used your services only because it's close to my home. You are nothing but a bunch opportunistic individuals. I feel sorry for the honest employees working there, who have to be subjected to being part of your shenanigans. People, BEWARE of things you are told by these people, DO get a second opinion if you suspect something. I saved myself from practically giving away THOUSANDS of rands, for sweet nothing!
