It wasn’t the agent, Thabang, it was more that I didn’t know it costs a whole R250 to make 1 address change on a car insurance policy.
According to my bank this happens a lot so I'm sure many have experienced it. I made an online purchase with ZARA on May 27th an obviously in order for the order to be placed, the amount of the item went off my bank account. I saw my bank balance drop with my own eyes. Cool. The item gets delivered 3nd June. Happy. Then midnight the 4th of June ZARA decides to deduct the amount again! I was livid! This is not the first time! I contact ZARA via Twitter because that's the only other way at midnight besides Facebook and guess what bull**** they tell me?! "We didn't double debit you, we only charged you once. It was a pre-authorisation. It's your banks fault" Absolute bull****! Im not an idiot, I can see when my bank balance goes down twice. If it was a pre-authorisation then my bank balance should not have changed! I even sent them video proof from my banking app but obviously they've been ignoring me ever since! No apology to an inconvenienced, stolen from customer. Nothing! My bank says they GET hundreds of calls like this about ZARA daily. ZARA is stealing from customers!

Takealot is such a trash company. So I order something super important from TAKEALOT on the 29th October assuming it will get to me by the 6th November (Today) when I need it. Cool. TAKEALOT sets delivery date for the 2nd of November. Cool. Plenty of time. The 2nd passes. Nothing happens. They don't update me, they don't update their app, no customer service whatsoever. So because they're silent, I (the paying customer) reaches out to THEM like a day later. They respond to me like oh sorry for the inconvenience & usual copy & paste schpeel like they just forgot there was an order at all. They finally deliver like 2 days late & guess what when I open the box? Not only are they late but half the stuff I ordered aint there! Remember, I need this stuff for the 6th (Today). I ordered & PAID (TAKEALOT already got my damn money!) on the 29th! Now I'm ****ed & I'm emailing & DMing on Twitter & all these people can tell me is we're sorry for the inconvenience, we're checking with the warehouse blah blah bull****. I email multiple times again & I get an email saying it will be delivered on Tuesday the 9th! No incling of customer service from TAKEALOT throughout, no offer of compensation for the inconvenience, no special delivery offer or offer to make special arrangements because it was THEIR **** up or because TAKEALOT knows I need it by the 6th, ordered & PAID WELL in advance, NOTHING! *** must I do with the thing on Tuesday?!! *** do I need it for then??!!! It's your mess up, go the extra mile to fix it! I'm a paying f*$king customer! You didn't deliver on a service, go out of your way to fix it ffs! TAKEALOT is a piece of trash company if I ever experienced one! To make matters worse, I still didn't get my order by the time I needed it even though I repeatedly said to @TAKEALOT multiple times that it needs to get to me by today. Not a f does TAKEALOT care! Now I'm being ignored by them completely via email, via social media like I'M a nuisance not a paying customer. Today I get a "delivery update" saying delivery will happen on Monday! *** does that help me???!!!
It's 12.50 AM & I go to put the alarm on. Punch in my code as I do ever night & this beeping starts going off. Constant load beeping with the "System" light highlighted. I try to press the numbers again but the alarm pad is not reacting at all. Now I'm thinking OK there's obviously something wrong with the "system" as that's the light that's going off so I call ********** 050 to get some sort of guidance. The person on the phone obviously has no idea *** to do & ends up concluding that a technician must & can only be called in the morning & that we have to sleep with this constant beeping all night. To someone who has to get up for work tomorrow that was like saying "**** you, we don't care" ???
Tried to use my R 50.00 birthday coupon Debonairs sent me, picked my stuff & went to checkout. Put in my voucher code in (BDAY50), the total to pay was shown as R 149.90 but when the deduction SMS came through it said R 199.90. Obviously shocked I immediately went to the Live Chat option on the Debonairs App & waited for an agent. The agent was slow to respond & completely unhelpful. When I told the agent that the App defaulted all they said was that the voucher wasn't redeemed when I know I did the right thing. I saw the total before I clicked pay. The customer service on the Live Chat option is horrible. Ruined my birthday today.
We had the misfortune of of ordering from Debonairs Pizza Southgate & what we got was completely raw & disgusting. Order was placed online because we decided to choose convenience. An employee from the restaurant called after the order to inform us that it would definitely be LATE which we took in our stride because of course we expected edible food but what it resulted in was us having to COOK the pizza ourselves in our own oven. We are disappointed & literally sick to our stomachs. Disappointed in Debonairs SOUTHGATE!
