Rain internet is bad and the customer care service is extremely horrible. They have an handful and they will send you from pillar to post from WhatsApp to email to phone call without helping.
Gym Company maponya mall branch is debiting me twice for 1 membership. I went with banks statements and they told me they will sort it out. A month later nothing is done instead I get sms and emails that I owe. They are unfriendly and always say we will sort it out. No email, no sms no call no evidence to say they will credit my membership for the next coming months. When I ask them to cancel they tell me that I must service notice, I will serve it with the extra money. I want to cancel and start from start, I also want my R100.
I know Eskom is useless…I was told last year by its call centre agent that they don’t know how I can change my late dad’s Eskom account and that I should google the closest Eskom branch in my area. I am sitting here paying an account of a dead person because I don’t know how I can change an Eskom account.
I used to think SARS gives the most efficient service but I was wrong. I have been dealing with a matter since Jan 2023,paid my late dad’s penalty that kept increasing monthly. After paying I was told there is another penalty,to top it off I was asked for IRP5 and medical certificate from 2015/2016 years after his retirement and 2 years after his death. Anyway, I respect SARS so I had to go beg for those documents, uploaded online more than twice, submitted physically at the branch twice and I have been asked to upload online again. I remember accompanying my dad at SARS in 2018 and we were told there will be no need to file because he last worked in 2015. I am angry,disappointed and sad that SARS is inefficient even to a person who died 2 years ago.
We were meant to travel with The Travel Plug in May to Thailand but unfortunately that will not happen due to the business going through a liquidation process. We were informed on 29 March 2023 when 4 days prior they shared the itinerary. There has not been any communication whatsoever from The Travel Plug about our money or anything. This is really heart breaking and concerning, we cannot reach them to get some answers.
I would like to thank Lawrence and Nyameko (spelling to be correct) for helping with a long standing matter. I really appreciate the effort and conclusion of my issue with Edgards.
It’s been over a month and Edgars has a phone that I bought on Edgars account. The least they can do is contact me to close my account.
It seems like my matter is hanging, Edgars has not follow-up with me. I am in limbo.
I bought a phone at Edgars Mall of Africa a week ago, 2days later I wanted to change but they didn’t want to with a store manager that walked away,left me with the salesperson. I left the phone and the slip there and they don’t want to refund me. I want to be credited and close the Edgars account urgently. When I opened the account I was welcomed with warm arms but when I have a problem they don’t want to talk to me. Please close that account and refund me because the phone is at the store.
