I used to work in the area so I frequently bought baked goods from these guys. Having retired I haven’t been there for over 10 years. Popped in the other day when I was in the area. Bought some pies as well as other items. 10 years down the line and the quality is still great and the service is amazing! Their pie pastry is next level. Pleasing to see the quality of their product and their service is still the best!!! Well done to management and their capable team!!!!
So I am a pay as you go client. Have been for over a decade. As I am a pensioner I try to manage my airtime and data purchases carefully so I don't lose unused balances. On 10 August at 15H33 my daughter bought me 1G of 30 day anytime data. If you purchase more data within the 30 day period what is unused of the original data is not lost. So my take on 30 days equates to 9 September @ 15H33. I bought a topup on 9 September @ 07H07. You guessed it: Cell C politely stole what was left of the 1G (around 900MB). This is how these thieving *******s make their money. *****ing your data and airtime! Needless to say I intend to fight for this. It's BULL**** that they just do as they please!!!!
I purchased a box (3L) of the Robertson Winery Shiraz on 9 August. On opening and poring a glass I noticed it was a dull colour and when I tasted it I could tell it had already started to change and deteriorate. Wasn't pleasant. So on the 11th I wrote them an email. I got a response that it was being looked into and I needed to provide certain details off the box, which I did. On 20th I received a response. Firstly it said they can not replace the product as it was actually the responsibility of their logistics provider. They had sent my details on and Vinimark, the logistics guys, would contact me. Secondly they offered me 20% off my next purchase from their online store. Till today nothing from Vinimark. And they can take their 20% and keep it. If this is how the manufacturer deals with faulty product by passing it over to the delivery guy, NO THANKS! Won't buy their products again!
Clicks must be the WORST retail experience EVER!!!!! Lost my card so I get issued a new one in the pharmacy. Pharmacist says she can't register new card, I can only do this at home. Cashier politely offers to register the new card in store. Now one would think they national and a card makes your life easier. Think again. EVERY time i go in to make a purchase they swipe my card, then proceed to ask for full name, ID number, home address, email and phone number?????? ***???????? They will not see me again!!!!! WAAAAAYYYYYY too frustrating to deal with all that ****!!!!!!!
We were heading to Burgersfort last Thursday (24 July) and stopped at the McDonald's in Middleburg for a bite. Parked and entered the store, placed our order at the electronic kiosk. And then the wait began. We ordered a quarter pounder with cheese medium meal without pickles and onions (so logic says it should have gone quicker). Drink was a coke zero. We ordered a second quarter pounder with cheese, just the sandwich. Finally we ordered a caramel sundae. These useless *****s put a new spin on "fast food"!!! 25 minutes!!!! And this was at 3pm so the store was quiet. It wasn't the lunch time rush or anything. At the risk of sounding ******: black excellence is a myth!!!!! They stand around talking while alarms are constantly going off on the cooking apparatus and nothing happens. Will NEVER go to that store again, or any other for that matter. Burger King opened in my street recently and their quality is better and so is their service. Goodbye McD!!!!!
So I ordered a breakfast item from the Pretoria North store today. A sausage mc****in WITH EGG. I was charged for it. It arrived in the correct wrapper. Sadly the egg either hopped off and ran away or it fell out in the bin of the uber eats delivery guy, but no egg! So I sent in an enquiry to uber and no response from them so they obviously don't give a ****. I will no longer use uber or mcdonalds!
Checkers Pretoria North had fresh hake for a change. I selected two and asked for them to be deboned and skinned. Cost was R444.90. The young lady at the seafood counter proceeded with my request. I paid for the fish and headed home. This afternoon I removed it from the package to prepare for dinner only to find those poor fish have been badly mutilated!!!!! Why put people in a specialist position who have no clue what they doing??????
So this store used to be at the Checkers centre. Belonged to a great guy named Mel. Since his passing it has deteriorated. Now moved to the Shoprite precinct. Smaller store. So i go in there on the weekend to make a purchase. Guy at the door tells me to turn my cap around. I am 67, I don't wear my cap back to front. Follows me in and tells me to take it off. In 67 years I have NEVER been asked to remove my cap in a retail store. Tells me it is store policy. They will never see me again!!!!!
Currently traveling abroad and needed to order flowers for my daughter for her birthday. Found these guys online and emailed. They responded quickly with a WhatsApp number. We discussed options, price and availability as well as delivery. Order confirmed, eft payment made, flowers delivered on time. Beautiful bunch, daughter happy!!! Whole process was seamless and service absolutely professional! Thank you!
I am only awarding one star because the system won’t allow otherwise. I require a membership certificate. They firstly would not issue it because the email address I mailed them from doesn’t match what is on the system. So I was required to send a letter requesting a change of email. Done. No joy. Their administration and response to a query just pathetic!
