No points for the customer or McDonalds
We went to McDonalds' Durbanville on the 17th of May 2024. I asked to load my points and the cashier took down my M-number from the app and guaranteed me that the number was loaded for points. When I checked in the week I noticed the points wasn't loaded. I have flagged this with the Head Office, and still waiting on the points to be loaded: Reference number = CAS-179421-F1R7L9 Up till today nothing has been done? Kind regards

No Oscar for Ster-Kinekor
I won a competition with Ster-Kinekor, and upon contacting them to find out more details they couldn't be reached. A month later they delivered something completely wrong (size-wise). Have queried it with their Head Office, and no-one has replied to my message. Everytime I ask on social media for assistance, they give you the following email address: info@sterkinekor.com, but no-one responds to any emails. As of late, the social media assistant responsible for Twitter doesn't respond to queries either. This is not the Ster-Kinekor I remember.

Spur - service with a taste for life
Great experience at the branch at Soneike. A waiter made a mistake on one of our food orders and the management was quick to assist. Overall very positive experience and can really recommend Soneike branch.

Clay Cafe, Hout Bay, a true work of art
We went to the Clay Cafe in Hout Bay during the first weekend of August. We were quite overwhelmed with all the options in terms of items to paint, which is a good thing because we are coming back to paint more. There is so many color options available and also tools for you to use. We want to thank Clay Cafe Hout Bay for truly being excellent at what they do. They made us feel at home and really explained the process very well. They have a variety of food and beverages to choose from and it was really amazing. I tried the beer and was impressed with the quality of draft beer on tap. Looking forward to the next artwork experience.

Boerie Burger Fail - Not loving it
I went and bought the McDonalds breakfast with the coffee at the Okovango Branch. I decided to drink my coffee in the car, and in my coffee cup there was only milk. I went back and they quickly fixed it, and I drove on me merry way. When I reached the office and checked my Boerie Hashbrown Stack there was hardly any sauce or onions. It really looked like such a neglected meal. Not sure if the kitchen staff were rushing. But I didn't get to enjoy my breakfast. This was not a #WIN at all, McDonalds.

Dawid, the Spar legend of Yzerfontein
This review goes to the coffee shop in Spar, Yzerfontein. We went there a month ago when we were in Yzerfontein on holiday. The coffee shop serves breakfast and meals throughout the day. Was impressed with the neatness and vibe of the place. the Spar in general is greatly stocked and we can literally find so much of what we need there. We decided to try out the breakfast at the coffee shop in Spar. We had the pleasure of being served by Dawid. He is a true service ambassador of Spar, He have excellent service and our food was just next level. He is a real gem and I really hope this review goes to Spar Head Office because. We went back the next day for breakfast because of our initial great experience. We are looking forward to our next holiday in Yzerfontein. Thank you Dawid and Spar for the great breakfast experience. This was a real #WIN.

NOB, a true burger pioneer
We went to the NOB on 22 August 2021. We tried the Pulled Pork in the Big Bites menu, and I was so impressed with the amazing burger. You can increase the levels of your burger, thus double the toppings. The chips was also nice and crispy. Our waitress was Simone, and she was amazing. Thank you NOB for giving us a great experience. Come and try The NOB, they will definitely #WIN you over with their legendary burgers. Looking forward to our next social.

Rocomamas = great food, great people, great service :-)
I recently went to the Rocomamas in Willowbridge. There is always great service and the manager Ray always make us feel at home. They follow covid protocols and the food is top of the shelf amazing. The definitely #WIN when it comes to their specialty burgers, and the MofoMayo just completest the meal. I had an incident with my Roco mobile application and they also helped to resolve it. I can recommend Willowbridge Rocomamas to each and everyone of you looking for more than just great food, because they offer a great vibe, and I'm looking forward to another Roco's experience.

Ster-Kinekor's lack of feedback a real SHOW-STOPPER
I go watch movies on a frequent basis, and as a big Marvel Fan I always watch the movies on the launch evening. I went to watch Black Widow on the 13th of August 2021, and there is also a competition attached to the Black Widow movie. I have reached out to Ster-Kinekor on social media, both Facebook and Twitter, to enquire on the terms and the conditions. I have also sent an email to the Ster-Kinekor Head Office because their contact number is currently out of order. How am I supposed to know the terms and conditions of the Black Widow Competion? I really want to participate and take a chance to #WIN the Black Widow prize. Kind regards

And the Oscar goes to ... Amy!
I frequent the Spar at Paradys Park in Brackenfell. I'm always greeted by a lady that goes by the name Amy and her friendliness really gives Spar an amazing vibe. I also have to complement the management of the store. I am a big fan of the McNAbbs product range and I usually buy the Mushroom Coffee and the Supercharge Shake. At some point it was sold out, and the management of Spar went and got stock within a week. This is really a store that has the greatest of customer service and I applaud Amy and her colleagues for this amazing experience.
