Second hand goods. After purchasing a generator on the online store and receiving a second hand one with service tag dated 9 months ago with the unit smelling of petrol and scratch marks all over it, I tried processing a return. Unit collected 2 days later, no word from them for another 3 days until I called and emailed. I requested a new unit but there was no stock. They gave me a credit on their website without discussion. I again called and emailed to request my refund to my account but was told that I need to go to the store that processed the delivery which is in Tokai- 1 hours drive away from where I stay. I requested a different generator amd was told the same manager(Chantel) who should have called me a 10 days ago will call me after my last discussion with the store 4 days ago. Still no call from the alleged manager. No call or email from Builders despite numerous emails. Last email sent 3 days ago and no response despite receiving a confirmation email with a reference code. I would advise to stay away; as Builders seems to be *****ulent in their dealings with clients, and staff hide behind vague statements and are their solely to buffer issues and not resolve it.
The Petroleum used damaged my paint work and all I received after I brought it to their attention was that it was not their Petroleum and they placed the issue onto the Petrol / Filling station. So according to alleged Expert opinion this could not have happened but it has indeed despite evidence and reports from the staff at the station I am now stuck with over R5000 worth of repair work to be done.
Absolutely shocking, never use as a security company- rotten to the core amd this all stems from poor managers in all departments I have dealt with- Admin, Sales and Technical department. The one person- Ginieal(Sales Consultant) was the only honest person, however when he left(hopefully to a better company) the true rotten core came out. Waited 6 weeks for his replacement to return my call and messages without response. After calling once I had an incident at the house he made all types of excuses and taking no responsibility for his repeated poor service. Despite paying the required quote that Ginieal provided the Technical team has not lived up to the quote and its been another one way street, repeated emails without response. Please stay clear of them, their rates are not bad compared to competitors but for a hundred or 2 more a month you get 10 times better service from the others. Never do business with them, Managers are there to try and sweet talk you but no action!!!
Worse Panelbeaters: from customer services to workmanship. Havilland- the so called reviewer of the work done has no tact in his communication and tries to find a reason to not have to fix issues. I ultimately had to contact the assessor and insurance agency for them to relook at the car after them having the car there for a month and not having fixed the original issues- the assessor exclaimed that they are expensive and the work done was far from par service within the industry. While my car was at M&L there was a new scratch that Havilland says must have come from the towing company, however the scratch in question is not on the assessors report nor on the original images taken by M&L themself- I am still awaiting feedback from the owner or supervisor- Andy. My car has been taken in to them again to fix the issues from the original claim but they fail to acknowledge and fix the additional damage caused by their poor workmanship. It is a grate shame that this Panelbeater Company takes money and renders a sub-par service, while causing further damage and not taking responsibility. I would advise that no one waste their time and money with this company. M&L will never be used by myself in future and I am sure there are more respectful companies around. So got a call from Andy, the so called supervisor- lets me just say, the ROT runs very deep and his Ethics is non existent. Tried calling the owner- Michael Cruywagen- still awaiting a response.
Worse experiece when returning goods. I give it to them that selection of items are great and delivery in these trying times is a gift, however after many years of purchasing on takealot this is the worse experience ever. For the past week I have been on the phone with them trying to get my money paid back. I returned 2 A7 Samsung tabs and they only reimbursed me for one. Photos were taken prior to the collection guy taking the box for return, the items were still sealed, i didn't even open them and logged a return a day before delivery as i did not want the items. This is becoming ridiculous as i keep having to call and the ladies at the help desk saying they would call me back. Numerous calls with reference numbers and emploees names(Fikile and Nadia to name a couple), still no word from them. I am wondering if one can reverse the online purchase by the bank, as clearly this should be seen as Fraudulent.
I would like to highlight a recent purchase from CRC. They were suppose to deliver to South Africa, I paid the delivery fee on top of the item fees. They failed to give a clear indication of the excessive additional charges. I wish there was more clarity to the charges to South Africa- customs, VAT, duties etc. It came to about 2/3rds of the original purchase price. It is very excessive for delivery and customs, without an indication to how much this might add up, one could then reconsider the purchase.
I have been having issues with my Cell C router that I took out with Cell C at the beginning of the year, it seemed like a good deal at the time, around R280 per month for 10 gigs daytime and another 10 night time data. I soon realized how septic Cell C is. After the first couple of months my data seemed to be used up very quickly and at times my router would stop working for hours on end. I am not one that downloads movies etc often so where did the data go? I have been overcharged on almost every month, close to R500 for a number of months and had to put a limit on this even though the limit should have been in place from the start, they took 3 months to get that right, but no refund. Makes one realize that the call center that sells you the product says different to what they actually end up logging. After discussing my concerns with their call center yet again, I was sent from department to department, unfortunately I don't have a cell C sim for calling, so as you know one waits 10 minutes for them to answer, another 10 minutes to check your account and 10 minutes to tell you they can't do anything. So I have clearly spent as much money on calling cell C to what the router is worth. Every time I call the call center or the technical support it is the same inadequate pathetic excuses. "They can't do anything" , "you have to wait for next month" etc. I have been asking for Data validation and for someone to call me back that what will be able to assist over the course of 6 months I received one call but yet again this person was not equipped to answer my questions and said Yashir Singh would be calling me back, to this day- 3 months later, no one has called. So after 6 months of calls and visiting the Cell C branch at N1 city, apparently i need to speak to someone over the phone as that is how the contract was taken out. So up until now no one has been able to assist me. No one can give me an answer to where the data has gone, no rebate, no apologies for the clear incompetence of the staff members but yet my account is deducted every month. So yes, I have tried cancelling the contract. But, I need to pay well over R1000 to cancel this contract, despite calling them, going to the branch and finding clear irregularities in the statements sent to me. I really want them to cancel this contract, but refuse to pay them for a faulty router, poor standards and lack of customer service.
