Don't sign debit orders with mtn. For 2 months they have ****** money from my account by debiting on the 23rd for some reason. This after they FORCED me to approve a debit order with an upgrade after I have been paying via eft for 20 years. The are completely unable to manage debit orders. Promises to correct the date are just lies and they now refuse to cancel the debit order and refund me!
This **** business is using my address to operate their ****. Do NOT pay any monies to this person. Numerous people have called us to enquire about vehicles that don't exist.

I've had the full package with TWO additional decoders linked for many years. I always pay between the 1st and the 7th depending on how busy month end is. Today on the THIRD I was disconnected after paying R1109 for years. I contacted DStv and was assisted by a very unhelpful consultant. I requested their reconnect fee to be removed as today is only the 3rd and they are well aware payments won't reflect over a weekend. They refused. So I cancelled the account completely. They are HAPPY to lose R13 000 a year over a R60 reconnection fee. Such great business sense... Their app has endless issues but they want immediate payments after hours. I am happy to be rid of these parasites. There are much better products for a fraction of the cost.
My policy (under partner's name) was accidentally cancelled when ONE debit order failed as we were under the impression that the property was covered under another insurer. We had recently moved some policies around. When we discovered the mistake we asked Hollard to reinstate the policy. Which they simply refused. Because of ONE debit order. Despite being their client for YEARS.
Cancelled my insurance for my home (under my fiancés name) after ONE failed payment due to a misunderstanding and now refuse to reinstate the policy due to the non-payment. But they happily took my premiums for the previous YEARS.
They cancelled my policy because of a debit order that was returned after delayed payments by the BANK did not reflect in time. Instead of just rectifying they prefer to rather cancel my policy and cover after ONE debit order. They refuse to reinstate the policy. They couldn’t care less about their clients. I will also be cancelling all other policies with them. WAKE UP. BUSINESS IS TOUGH AND COMPETITION IS RIFE. Hollard is on the path to failure.
Ordered and paid. 2 days later received email saying no stock. Week later still no refund. No response to any email.
Provide s**** metal unusable parts and then have endless excuses why they can't refund. Their manager, Michelle, also refuses to put you in contact with the directors and also doesn't give them the messages you leave. She then tries to intimidate you with a letter from an attorney. They feel that their ******* business practices of providing credit notes in stead of refunds is above the law because they print these arbitrary and ******* terms and conditions on invoices. I will be taking them to court. Stay away.
This company refuses to pay a valid claim since February 2023. They had one excuse after another claiming the premiums were allocated incorrectly on their side. Then they took a month to "consolidate" the payments. To date they refuse to pay a valid claim. Be aware you won't have cover if you use this company.
