Requested adjustments to my lights during service. Car returned with dims shining into oncoming trafficc like brights. Took car back 4 times to be corrected, eventually to be told that whole light had to be replaced at my cost because adjusting ***** was not functioning. Could only be repaired if still under maintenance plan. Or at my cost. They broke it - they should fix it. Even told it could not be adjusted, but they did adjust and did charge me for it. Very unhappy client who is in the market for a new car, but will now look at alternatives.
Montecasino. Had the strangest experience there on 2 May. After ordering, enjoying our meal and wine the waitron sheepishly came to the table and asked us to pay cash because there was some problem with the card machine because of loadshedding (which was more than a week ago. We refused to draw cash to pay and said we would do and eft. After much discussion, asked to speak to a manager. He came out with a card machine and said sometimes it works, others not, maybe....It was all very suspicious as our pmt went through without any delay.
Went there for a brunch on Sunday. Decided to sit on patio. Provided with a menu that was photocopied and cut very skew. 4 out of the 7 or so main menu items not available. One order of hake and chips was overcooked, straight out of freezer, dry, bony and tasteless. T Bone was paper thin, more like a minute steak on the bone, which I have never heard of. Kids hot dog was burnt underneath sausage. Frozen chips were awful. Sad thing is you pay a 5* price for a 1* fast food quality meal, which I would never buy twice. The fast food fish franchise provides better quality fish and chips at R36, as opposed to R150 we were charged. Worst of all, email sent advising them of experience bounces back.
Booked for a "picnic" at the Avianto clubhouse. They had prepared a picnic spot for us near the River with picnic blankets, small table, flowers etc. The packed basket was delicious and there was much more than we could eat. Food quality was top notch. Highly recommended and we will be back. Thank you.
I have owned many Renos over the years. But never again. CL booked her Reno for a service. Was told she had a plan that only covered Basic service and not brakes, which required replacing. She was given a quote of R4500 which she grudgingly accepted. On arrival to collect, she was told the labour was an extra R2500. She did not have that amount available. Reno stated that she could not take car, or they could just remove the brakes again and leave them in the boot for her. Really!! She spoke to everyone up to the manager, all who were intimidating. The service lady basically called her a liar, even though there were emails confirming quote. 3 men sat her at a table and basically said she should have known there would be a labour charge added. Surely if you are given a quote, that should be all inclusive. Only when my son intervened rather aggressively, were they apologetic and willing to discuss/resolve the issue. Seems like it was a gender issue treating men and women differently.
Returned a Kreepy Dominator to Makro under warranty, or so I thought. They sent to Four Water Pool Solutions, the supplier who sent a quote for repair. I felt that Makro was not interested in suporting me as their client and just accepted what their supplier said. whose side are they on anyway. Won't rush back there.
Owned a Kreepy Dominator for a year. Returned to Makro for repair, presumably under 2 yr warranty. Makro sent to supplier who sent a quote for over R700 for repair, stating without evidence not installed properly, pressure to high etc, when they has access only to Kreepy unit. stated that parts not covered by warranty, although that is not stated. Shocking service and will definitely find an alternative product.
I have been charged for 3 months in excess of R1000 per month on my wife's phone number. Have tried to unsubscribe using the given number. Never registered for service. How do we get money refunded?? How do we get the "subscription" deregistered??
rented a car from Woodford for 2 days. Price was competitive, online booking system extremely user friendly, regular electronic update, welcome and reminders. All communication friendly and professional. On arrival, vehicle ready and waiting and we were even given an upgrade on request, which was also clean, ready and waiting.<br> Staff attitude was friendly and professional, both in office and with car handover. They will be my first choice for car rental again. Thank you
