I went to collect my medication today at a pharmacy and affinity would not sign it off. I usually collect my medication on the 1st of every month but December has 31 days and my medication finished yesterday. So, I had to pay cash for my medication today and could not wait for tomorrow as it would have meant defaulting on my medication. I could not understand why they could not accommodate just 24 hours and let me collect my medication today on the 31st. I think I am gonna be better off paying cash for everything including my medication and doctors visits.
Affinity health has made my life a lot easier to visit doctors with a paperless approach.
I cancelled my month to month fibre service a on the 3rd of April because I was told that I need month long notice for cancelation. The services are due to be shut down on the 1st of May. However, my bank account got debited on the 26th of April. Do we not pay in advance for services? Meaning that the debit order end April covers the month of May. I feel ****** because my services end May 1st but already already paid for the whole month of May.
I am very disappointed in the Kia brand and the so called warranties. I have a Kia Sportage that has only 10 000 kms on the clock and it was bought as a used car from a private individual. The warranty is valid until 2023 and my last service with Kia is 2021 September. A few weeks ago, I picked up a few problems on the front drivers side wheel wearing unevenly. Upon a close inspection at a Kia Dealership, it was discovered that the vehicle has had some work done on the under carriage, namely the Subframe which was damaged and later repaired by Kia Durban Franchise. The dealer refused to fix the damage and told me that the damage was caused by a welding on the Subframe which now meant the warranty was invalid. I did my own investigation and found out that Durban Kia Franchise is the one that repaired the Subframe by welding it and not replacing it. Once the paper work and invoices were traced and provided to the Kia Dealership again to show that the damage was done by one of their own Dealership in Durban then the narrative changed to that they are not covering the cost of the damage because it is not factory defect. So yor warranty does not cover anything people...you as a customer are being sold a lie and please keep away from such misrepresentations. Kia parts are very expensive and you will be out of money should something happen to your car.
Please stay away from Telkom unless you love stress and being broke. The first 24 months went well without a hitch but I made a mistake of signing on again for another 24 months this time my installment was 212 rands monthly for 20GB. I jumped on it amd my first debit was according to the contract. My second debit was R339 and I immediately called them to ask why installment has changed to be told that it was an adjustment from my previous contract...a pro-rata. I thought fine, but again this month I see that my installment is R339. I quickly called them up and this time I was told that there was additional bundle that was added to my service without my knowledge. After this was investigated I was told that they will remove the bundle and my case will go to the finance team for evaluation. I received an sms 20 minutes ago saying that they are not going to reimburse my money because I had used the data. Here is where the problem lies...Telkom knows that the first 2 GB that you are using are additional to your data and once these have been depleted then they have already taken your money. I am disgusted by their tricks and I am warning you as a potential customer to shop around and stay clear of Telkom. I was billed for 4GB that I did not sign up for and I am furious. My job now is to ***** their business and bring them to their knees. They are ripping people of and I am sick and tired of this nonsense. I lost R280 rands during this ordeal but they are going to lose millions of rands in the long run. I repeat...do not sign anything with Telkom.
Never thought this day will come for me to write a review regarding Affinity Health as they have been fantastic until recently when i was turned down for authorization of a newly diagnosed condition. I was supposed to go for a 30 minute procedure to restructure a condition that was created by a pre-existing condition but to affinity the two are the same even when the medical definitions of the two are completely different. I guess because they are situated in the same region. Anyway, I am disappointed because they have been by my side for over 10 years and our relationship got sour because now the procedure was an expensive one and maybe they did not want to break the bank. It is sad to say good bye but i guess it is time to join a medical aid and know that they will be there for me in the long run and won't put life in danger. Spend a little more and make sure that you are fully covered when it matters most. This is a Medical Insurance and we know what an insurance will do when it is time to pay up. They will less than a R1000 rands for everything you require but make sure you do not require a medical emergency for over that amount because you will be on your own...
Dear All First and foremost, i would like to sincerely apologize to Mr Benovick Gwaze and his company OMARIMEDIA for a review that i posted a few weeks ago. I understand the damage that this post has done to his company unnecessarily. I have looked over my contracts and documents and in no way do these papers mention the name of Benovick Gwaze and his company hence my apoolgoies to mi and his company. Although, the damage might have already done. I am here to say that please continue to do business with him in good faith and his name and that of OMARIMEDIA were thrown into the mix with error. I have extended my sincerest apologies to him today in person and have rectified all the contracts. I hope you disregard the previous review on this company and i will also ask Hellopeter's representatives to remove it from the site altogether.
I was denied access to Steyn City's Estate because i could not find my drivers licence but had my Green Bar Coded ID book. I was driving behind my colleagues and security would not let me in after explaining to them that i was only visiting the Club House for a meeting with colleagues. I thought my ID was worth something but i guess not in some rich estates in South Africa if you are a black man. This is the very same piece of land that wss taken from the black families by force and changed into an estate. I guess apartheid is not going anywhere anytime soon unless we start to rise up again.
Hi This company's owner or employee by the name Benovick Gwaze is not to be trusted. He rented an apartment from me in Fourways and broke the lease agreement and ran off with my money. He is ignoring my messages and now his girlfriend is also ducking and diving. Please do not do business with them at all cost. If he can run off with an amount less than 10k then this company is really not going to deliver service to you. His name is Benovick Gwaze. He drives a silver Mercedes benz and do not rent him your accommodation at all.
I just came back from Standard Bank. My fourth visit and 2 hours wasted again with no help in sight. The consultant called the legal department and found PA who asked us to call back at 14:00 as the people in charge of my account are out for lunch and will call me when they get back. I am not holding my breath because I know it is not going to happen. Three people who are supposed to servicing clients are out at the same time for lunch leaving only a PA to just take down numbers and with a promise to call back. I think my job is now to call the ombudsman and see if I can get help. Failure to get help there then I am going to start a smear campaign.
