This Premio phone that I bought in August last year wont charge, I've lost the box so now they wont repair it and nobody else repairs these phones. So now I have a R1 400 toy phone. Whatever you do do not buy these Premio phones because Akerman doesn't have any after sales support for this product, Its actually a ****. Worst purchase I've ever made. Even without all these issues, this phone is a terrible product which doesn't meet the basic conditions of being a smart phone.
If you go to Akerman's to buy a phone, don't let them sell you dreams about the Premio x86 and possibly all Premio phones. Its a really terrible phone. Rather get the Nokia C20 which looks exactly like it, at least its from a reputable manufacturer. I fell for the 2G RAM scam and I can honestly say the phone is slow and terrible to use, I doubt this phone actually has 2G RAM because the most I've seen available is 1.1G . Sometimes you cant Answer calls because the phone is ringing but there are no options to answer the call and when you do swipe to answer it takes ages to register that you have answered the call. The when you are done with the call the phone menu disappears so you cant end the call. Its just trash that I will give to my son when I get another phone. And even he wont really be happy to have it. I cant stress enough how bad the phone is and I understand why they wont tell you its an Akerman's phone.
FNB gives "predatory loans where you borrow R 2000 and pay back R 3300. I don't care whether they say its service fees or whatever, it comes across as predatory. yet they call everyday selling BS products to tie you to them. Don't be desperate enough to go to them for financial assistance.
I have used Wonga twice now and everytime i used them i got an instant response from them and communication has always been great. The repayment terms are great, especially if it's a really short term loan.
Great pricing, technicians who know what they are doing, great management and sales team who are extremely helpful, especially Sylvester and Tina.
I was hit by a bidvest protea coin vehicle while I was stationary in Durban on 10 October 2017. I reported the accident to bidvest protea coin head office in Pretoria after going to the police. They asked me for pictures, drivers license, AR number and all relevant report documents which I submitted within two days. For some reason that I can not explain it took protea coin (Marlize Sherman) 2 months to send the report to bidvest insurance in Durban. In December bidvest insurance then asked me to send all the documents which I had sent to protea coin to them which I did the same day. Once I submitted I was told that Siphwesihle, the lady who was handling my claim was on leave and that only she could help me. Finally she returned in January and I had to submit more documents which they had omitted previously. I then asked for assistance from the manager who then arranged for an assessor to inspect the damage. The assessor looked at my car towards the end of January and submitted a report within two days. I then had to send the vehicle log book which I did. I then had to sign a release form form which I submitted on the 12th of February. I then called bidvest on the 20th to get confirmation of a payment date which I was told I would get on the 21st. I then called on the 23rd and was told that the payment release was only submitted to the finance department on the 22nd and that I would get confirmation on the 26th. This was open and shut case as the driver of the other vehicle had admitted guilt but it has taken four months to prove that the vehicle is mine and that the bank account details I gave are mine. I'm really disappointed that they are acting like they are doing me a favour by repairing the damage to my vehicle. I've only had my car a year and I had to present it to my family in December with a dent.
