Harley-Davidson (Gold Rand) has an online store. You will see that there is no provision for customer feedback on this site. There seems a Very good reason for this. I ordered some accessories on the 10th April. Each one i ordered was 'in Stock'. I have proof of this - i took screen shots. I also checked telephonically to see if this was indeed available. The answer was affirmative. Today is 15 May. I still do not have my 'in Stock' items. I guess its only 35 days now! Now imagine if they had to be imported..... The confusion, excuses & promises are profusely provided by all & sundry. No-one of course says "darn this is terrible - i am really, really sorry - we will endeavour to make this up to you somehow!" A 'Sorry - we stink' would be a nice start! No way! Business must be Brilliant at Harley-Davidson (Gold Rand) currently. Scratch one ****-willy customer i will carry on ordering from Dennis Kirk in the US - it takes less time, they actually appreciate my business, their selection is great & they are cheaper landed in JHB.
I have two numbers listed with Vodacom. I have been using every means at my disposal since October 2020 to cancel using the system Vodacom offers to no avail. I have used their 0821958 request number so often over the months without result. It promises to send an sms (which it does!) followed by an official email cancelling within 48 hours (that it does not!). I have spoken to staff & had the promises again & again......not once have i received an email confirming cancellation of the number. Its now May 2021 & my latest invoice reflects BOTH numbers still with my being charged for BOTH! So as a customer/consumer/small individual how do i fight Vodacom? The law in South Africa stands on the side of the proponent that can afford the best attorney. Don't try & tell me otherwise! It is typical Vodacom arrogance in the new era of 'we are a corporate in the new South Africa & you are the customer - shut up & be thankful we consider servicing the likes of you at all!'
Today, 9 Oct 2020 I read a news article declaring how the CEO of Afrihost Gian, wishes to fill the #1 slot as regards supplying wifi services in SA. The man must be insane! I have a WIFI service with them, for which I pay R1500/month, that is advertised at 200mbps Down & 100mbps Up....as I am sitting writing this it it is less than 1mbps Down & Up! This is NOT an anomaly, this is the norm with Afrihost. I have this day after day, night after night. The many different ways of contacting Afrihost are pointless - whatsapp them? 7+ plus hours..... Request a callback? Days if at all..... Email? The requests & directions are impossible to follow...... The 'service' they 'provide' is an aberration. Only the supplier of an intangible service could possibly get away with this. If you DO get an answer back they will suggest migrating to a 'pure fibre' service, this costs more! I am now one package off the highest teir....... Thats 1000mbps Down & 100mbps Up! Afrihost, your service supply is disgusting.
Hello Sonja I hope you are really well & not too insanely busy. The shipment arrived yesterday. Quite frankly words fail me..... I am not sure how you & Execumove get it right when so many others cannot. I am not the easiest of people to impress & you have succeeded each time I have dealt with both you & the Teams that work for you. The collection Team under David was unbelievably efficient, professional & friendly so much so that I now follow David on social media! The delivery Team so prompt & business-like that when Jenni said ‘there is an Execumove Van that just pulled up’ I thought she was joking. No-one could be that fast or efficient! Obviously I was wrong..... We have moved overseas twice. My Wife being a decorator meant that we took everything each time. We have moved houses.....actually I am no longer sure how many times! I have never had such a stress-free, user-friendly & pleasurable moving experience before. Being a cynic & a realist I know that you & Execumove cannot be perfect - but darn, so far you have been & that blows my socks off! I have written this sincerely, from the heart & I mean every word. All I can say is that as a company you Guys are an elite Team with no equal I am aware of. You should all be exceptionally proud of what you are accomplishing. I know standards like this must demand more than most people can give – but from this one small Client I want you to know that you are achieving great things. I can only say that I expect in the future to see hundreds of beautifully turned out Execumove rigs on the road & very few competitor trucks! Thank You. Please make a very careful decision before joining this group to procure services offered by them. Firstly during the initial process my company account was debited incorrectly. They do not adequately inform their clients of what the service entails & that you will be charged per call handled over & above what you are billed monthly as a set fee. In addition, you will not receive the promised emails/texts relating to the service you pay for on every occasion which leads to frustration from your own Clients. The process of dissolving this association is almost too convoluted to explain. You are required to register on their website & then agree to their terms before being able to extract yourself from the contract which you are required to do 3 months before the termination date. Their service is dismal. Do as I have done & approach the Consumer Council for resolution. I wish you less frustration than I have experienced.
