Relebohile who helped me was exceptional. I initially got cut off from her, after which I made multiple attempts to get my device relocation sorted without success. While I was on hold with someone else, Relebohile phoned back to apologize for the line cutting out as well as inform me that she had resolved the matter prior to phoning me back. Now that is what I call good service!
This is absolutely the most pathetic courier company!!!! Today is Thursday. My package showed out for delivery on the tracking at 8am on Tuesday. I spent all day at home waiting for the driver. Just before 5pm I enquired about where my package is and was casually told the driver didn't get to all his stops and would be delivering the next day. Yesterday again no driver and the same lame excuse! They told me the matter would be escalated and my packaged delivered today. Just checked the tracking to see where my package is and it shows it's been moved to a remote sorting area. Since when is the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town remote???? Absolutely pathetic!
Absolutely useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I applied for transfer of ownership of contracts beginning of July. Was vetted and approved, but still haven't gotten my numbers transferred. Now every person I deal with transfers me to someone else and my problem does not get resolved. If this is how Vodacom does business, I think I need to take my business elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW! Our geyser burst and we had to shut off our home's water because of the piping being connected wrong for the geyser. When Barlands came to replace the geyser, the men were very friendly. They worked quickly and not only replaced the geyser, but also fixed the piping problem. SUPER IMPRESSED! Worth every penny and would highly recommend
Worst courier company ever!!!!!!!!!!! I am highly frustrated with the absolute pathetic service I am receiving. I booked and paid for collection of a package on Sunday. The package collection date was booked for yesterday (30 November). The package was never collected yesterday and after I phoned them yesterday afternoon, they casually said that the driver said no one was home. I was home all day and my car was in my driveway to prove it. They then said the package would be collected today and that I can phone them in the morning to find out what time the driver will be in my area. Well, I phoned about 8 times before I managed to speak to someone and then I was told that they can't give me an estimate time as to when the driver will be in my area. Now its 16:20 already and my package has still not been collected! I'm also unable to get a hold of the company on any of the 5+ lines I've tried calling. This is utterly unacceptable! I will never use them ever again!!!!!
This is the second time I've put in a claim and it's taken 2 weeks to get it resolved. The first time it was for a freezer and we ended up having to through away a lot of food because of Dial Direct dragging their feet with the claims process. I even had to source quotes for them to help speed things along! This time, the claim is for a geyser. We submitted it beginning of last week, again I was told to send quotes for replacements to help speed things along. It's been a week and a half, we don't get updates. We phone and phone and no one can give us any clarity. The weather in the Western Cape has been extremely cold the last two weeks as well, so no geyser means no hot water! This is pathetic and as soon as this matter is resolved I am taking my business elsewhere! Why pay R1800 for insurance policies and not get the service you pay for!!!!!!!!!
I am very disappointed with Discovery Medical Aid. I had a miscarriage in January. End of May I got pregnant again and since then have had to pay my doctors' bills in cash, as my medical aid still picks up the previous pregnancy instead of the current one. I first called this in on the 10th of June, then again on the 22nd of July as it was still not fixed. It is now the 3rd of August and I am currently on the line waiting for a manager to explain why the issue still has not been resolved. My frustration just gets more each time I have to phone in! Not only do these calls end up being for nothing, but most of my airtime goes down the drain along with my time!
I phoned in yesterday afternoon at 14:00 to submit a claim regarding a geyser burst at my home. I was informed over the phone and via mail that a plumber will be assigned and I will be contacted within 2 hours. It is now the next day 12:24 and only now after numerous phone calls and getting very upset, will a plumber be called out to our property this afternoon. My house has been without any water for almost 24 hours now and it took me bursting out in tears for them to get things done! If this is the service my hard-earned money is paying for, I think it's better spent elsewhere.
I was convinced to change medical aids, after they ensured me I would receive the same benefits and services from Umvuzo as I did from Discovery. In fact, they went as far as to promise that Umvuzo was better than most of the other top-ranked medical aids. So far, I have had to pay in for every prescription received and now they won't cover an operation- not even hospitalization or anesthesia. This is beyond pathetic and I would urge anyone considering Umvuzo medical aid to avoid them at all costs.
