A very nice user interface and ease of transaction on their website. HOWEVER, receive my request for top up, take my money, but do not produce the top up bytes, blaming issues at Telkom but refusing to refund. So, be very careful before you pay them.
My biggest frustration with this pariah institution is that I cannot communicate with them because they have done an absolute sterling job in complicating access to customer service. The so-called "Chat" facility, which works so well with numerous other institutions, is a bad joke - no-one appearing to help you, and messages remaining unanswered until automatic disconnect occurs. The phone line "help" facility has always been a tragicomedy, now it has reached full-blown tragic proporsions. How is it at all possible that such an a sea are aye pea system can even continue to exist? BC (before corona) they were bad, but now (and it is no excuse, because you are a telecom setup!!!) they are REEEEEL BAAAAAD. I have already started to cancel my various Telkom accounts, and will soon be cancelling the last one. I am so looking forward to the final big day of GOOD RIDDANCE.
After reading the reviews it was with trepidation that I approached Rocksole to repair my motorcycle boots. I am glad I did, because there was nothing to complain about - as a matter of fact, I was received cordially and helpfully by Raj when I placed the order, and similarly by an older gentleman when I collected them. The job itself was stunningly done.
Consistently good service and food over an extended period. Owner / manager hands-on from arrival until departure.
Consistently good service over the years. Not often to be said in this industry. Only reason for not 5/5 is because nobody is perfect!
Consistently: good, service and good cuisine, coming with a beautiful setting and a cosy interior.
My experience: not shying away from obligations. Try them.
One star rating is only because I HAVE to rate before I can write. Some time ago I warned subscribers of Telkom's practice of giving away your cellphone number if you don't use it for a month, and robbing you of your unused airtime in the process. I have just received an SMS from Telkom, informing me that my query has been resolved. BS!!!! Not true!!! I believe this is a deplorable method used to tweak the stats as to resolution of complaints. Another very interesting fact gleaned from Hellopeter site: of over 71000 Telkom reviews the average rating is 1,6!!!! Yes, people, 1,6 out of 5 And that is taking into account the obligatory one star rating. How is it possible that such a company is still operating?
The one star rating is for picking up the phone very soon after I had been taken to endless menus … Beware if you consider getting a non-contract sim card for emergency or other purposes - after 30 days of not using it it is de-activated, your number is "re-shuffled" and given to someone else, and the airtime that you had on the card reads "R0,00". And all that remains is a "we apologise for the inconvenience". That's all. Lekker, Telkom, lekker!!!
I have had two dealings with WeFix Tygervalley having to fix my Samsung cellphone and in both instances I was treated with respect and received very good service. (This does not apply to other WeFix outlets - Tygervalley only) Rather give these people the opportunity to serve you than wasting your time and money on contacting Samsung Customer Service or Unitronics (unless, of course, you want to be frustrated out of your mind).
