I took my car in for its annual service at Vredenburg and reported a possible problem with the radio, which is still under warranty. I requested a booking for a diagnostic, but after receiving no feedback, I called several times over the course of more than a month — still with no response. I eventually took my car to Hyundai Malmesbury, where I received exceptional 5-star service. They carried out the diagnostic promptly and even returned my car neatly cleaned, despite it not being a service appointment. In contrast, Vredenburg returned my car exactly as it was after a full annual service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Vredenburg Hyundai at all.
Extremely disappointed in the swimwear I received. I bought a size SMALL but what I received wasn't a small at all. It fits a large person. This is unacceptable, and now all of the sudden I can't return it! This option was still available when I bought the item. The size label has also been cut off, probably on purpose to cover up! What am I suppose to do with this big swimwear???!
You sold me a Telkom internet package deal without even checking if I have network access. Months later, and I was held liable to pay for your mistake. It took months to cancel as Telkom's service is even worse then yours!
In 2016 my husband bought an engagement ring which had to be resized 6 sizes smaller. They never informed us that it can't be resized more than 2 sizes. After only 4 months the diamonds started falling out. I replaced it at the same store we bought the ring from, without knowing that they should've been held liable for this. Every year since 2016 I had to replace diamonds. None of the staff told me that I we paid for jewelry insurance and I kept on paying for this to be fixed every single time! I reported this to customer service in the beginning of the year, when the ring was only 4 years old. They dragged the case out until 5 years passed. After going to HelloPeter, they only started taking the matter serious. After the ring was looked at by the technician at head office, they only claim that the ring is damaged due to wear and tear, and not because the foundation of the ring was damaged since day one. After lack of communication from the area manager of ASJ Paarl Mall, Ms. Chantel, I contacted her superior, Ms. Rani Pillay. Ms. Pillay tried to make another sale out of me, admitting that a ring can't be made smaller more than 2 sizes and a repair won't fix the damaged foundation. She suggested another ring be made on my size and only after receiving the quotation I found out that I'd have to pay tge entire amount for the new ring. After wasting more than R5000 on ring repairs and buying a damaged ring to start with, they refuse to accept any liability... If we had known this was the quality of jewelry and client service that AMERICAN SWISS offers, we'd never ever gone to them to start with! Please people, don't ever trust them with resizing jewelry! They do more damage then good. And now I lost my engagement ring and my two wedding bands all because of their bad workmanship!
The service I received from Mobicred the past 2 years has been very good. Ms. Rafia from Mobicred has assisted me with all my queries and has also advised me what the best options are to maintain a good credit record.
The field manager that has been handling my case regarding my engagement ring isn't replying on my email. I've called the store numerous times, and the manager assures me that he has asked her to contact me, but no reply....no feedback after I handed my ring in at Paarl American Swiss in February 2021. This is unacceptable. I'm turning HelloPeter as this is the only way the field manager will be forced to reply. My next step is National Consumers Commision. Please don't sent me SMS's showing this matter has been closed again, seeing this has been a never ending battle with TFG and ASJ!
After almost 3months after handing my enagement ring and wedding bands in at American Swiss, I finally received feedback that even though the ring was resized 6times smaller, and after this stones keep falling out and cracks appear, they claim it is my fault, because according to them, the ring is damaged due to pressure being applied from the top... I don't even wash my hands with the ring on...everytime we sent it for repairs, after 3months the same cracks start to appear. It's been repaired more than 3times in 4 years. American Swiss is truly the worse jewelers with the poorest quality jewelry ever! My ring cost R7999 and with each repair costing about R1200, my ring is suppose to be worth almost R12 000! But it looks worse than a ring bought on the street! This is pathetic! Please don't ever buy their rings....or be prepared to pay each year for the poorest quality!
I am really disappointed in the way we've been treated by American Swiss since 13 July 2016. My husband bought my engagement ring on my mother-inlaw's Foschini account on 13 July 2016 with annual insurance. My husband, sister-inlaw and mother-inlaw were present when the purchase was made, and NO ONE ever told them that the ring can't be resize more than 2 sizes, even when they told the sales consultant that the ring is much too big for my finger and will have be resized. I took the ring to Worcester American Swiss for the resizing, as the sales consultant at Paarl Mall advised us to do, because I didn't live in Paarl that the time and paid cash for this without any hassle or warnings from any of the American Swiss staff. Every year after this, I had to have the ring fixed out of my own pocket, because the stones keep on falling out. I'm so careful with the ring, that I take it off when I wash my hands - terrified that more stones will fall out. This ring has been repaired 3 times. I kept most of the repair slips and pur hase slips. The centre piece has cracked on the both sides, because of the missing stones, with only the newly added wedding bands keeping it together. In 2018 we got married and had to have stones replaced for the 3rd time at American Swiss and asked that Sterns in Paarl Mall attach two plain white gold bands on both sides. After 4 months the crack appeared again and stones started falling out again. This tells me that the ring has simply been "patched and solutioned" and never properly repaired. In 2019 I didn't want to wear the ring as I was pregnant and was terrified that I could worsen the damage to the ring with my swollen fingers. In 2020 Covid-19 prevented us from traveling, so the ring wasn't fixed. Today I'm left with 6 stones missing and both sides of the engagement ring's centre piece cracked. Only the wedding bands keeping it together. I reported my concerns to the current American Swiss manager on the 27th of February 2021 at Paarl Mall and was told that this isn't their problem because the ring is old (even though it is less than 5 years) After telling the manager that I can't leave this matter as is, then only I was advised to leave the ring at Paarl Mall so that the area manager can have a look. Their outcome was that they can assess the ring free of charge to determine what the cause of the damage is, but I will be liable to fix it AGAIN out of my own pocket. I reported this a few months ago and was advised to hand the ring in at Sterns Paarl Mall for assessment. I did so and till now haven't received ANY feedback. I've been calling the store and the only response I get is that they'll get back to me. Today I tried again and was told that the area manager was suppose to contact me a few days ago. I did some research and got the area manager's number, but no answer. I am deeply disappointed at the service and how the entire matter was handled up to this point. My husband thought he bought quality when going to American Swiss, but since then we have only been having problems and throwing money into a bottomless pit. We can't afford this ring anymore. It looks horrible and the American Swiss' name is gone down the drain.
A personal loan account was handed over and arrangements were made to pay it off. For the past 7 months we've been paying, but now Nedbank claims to not have received funds since March 2020. We handed over proog of payment, but still our money is gone!!!!
They claim to always be there to help, but during the lockdown period (when their help is needed more then ever before), they refuse to help. My account was debitted twice and they claim that they can't reverse the debit order. They refer me to a "Covid-19" option on their app, but that option wants to see a payslip (which has NOTHING to do with the double debit order that went through).
