I have subscribed with news24 always using the special offers. When close to the end of my subscription i would receive email notifying me that it was ending on certain date. However this time i did not receive email. I was paying 19.99 per month. News 24 had my bank details. Without my consent they took 109.00 from my account for new subscription on 24 January 2026. They is not right. I cannot afford to pay this amount. I have sent them email and trust they will return my money.
To those who wish to buy a car from webuycars I purchased car on auction for 116100.00 Car was rated as Ready with No Roadworthy Issues from silver lakes branch Travelled 100km to collect car Did paperwork and payment with Tebogo Was provided with roadworthy voucher Fuel tank was empty Filled 500.00 petrol Went to roadworthy centre to obtain roadworthy certificate as instructed by salesman The car Failed the Test 4 x Roadworthy Issues Also spare key broken and other one not working Went back to webuycars with the certificate Requested refund for purchase price and fuel Manager Bafana was compliant and acknowledged to refund complete amount of 116600.00 Was told it will take 72 hours to reflect 6 days have passed Phoned today and was told it will take another 72 hours I hope that webuycars resolve this issue speedily and process my refund asap Whole day was wasted and had to pay for fuel to go to silver lakes and return home We are a retired couple and it caused us a lot of inconvenience. My Advice is to please check vehicle thoroughly yourself and do not take the inspection report for granted I will post again on outcome of this issue

Mak6738661 order no. It has been over 1 month and i have not received my refund. I went to makro pmb branch and tried to get my refund. Makro took 550.20 Refunded 160.04. I have still not received the balance of 390.16. I never received my voucher of 50.00. Kerusha never got back to me and i have made over 30 calls. Service is pathetic and switchboard stinks. Please people be carefull when buying cars from webuycars. Bought a category A car with clean dekra report on 24.11.22. Aircon was listed as very good. Did not pay balance and went to testdrive before paying balance. Car was very sluggish and aircon not working at all,not even kicking in. Neelan from germiston branch was assisting me and he said we should go back and he will cancel the transaction. He assured me all was fine and i could leave and aknowledged there was a major problem. My wife was witness. Uber cost was 1000.00. Received watsapp from Neelan today that management refused to cancel the deal. I have sent detailed email to customercare and await their response. Returns policy on their website says otherwise. Bought this vehicle because of the dekra report and returns policy.
Mango does not show fares for the whole month like the old app. The old app was much more better as i could different fares and choose the cheapest. Mango has lost a loyal customer to safair as they still have the month viewer with relevant fares. Keep it up safair. Goodbye mango.
I took out unlimited contract with telkom. I then had problems as there is no signal in area that i live. Also no signal in nearby towns. After numerous calls i was told that i must put my phone on roaming and select mtn. The problem was somewhat resolved as i had to continually select network manually but at least i could make/receive calls and use data etc. However in the last week or more i have no signal. I cannot roam on mtn anymore. I have selected telkom roaming but still no success. I am paying 700.00 per month for a contract that is not working. PLEASE PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM TELKOM NO MATTER HOW ATTRACTIVE THE OFFER MAY SEEM. I have exhausted myself trying to sort out this problem. I was once told that they will put a tower in my area Westering but that never happened. I am paying for something i cannot use. I had to take out contract with mtn due to not having a working mobile fone when home and travelling. Can someone advise? Is there anyone experiencing same problem? My no 081 2478 777
Is there an ombudsman or regulatory body that regulates the car rental companies? I hired vehicle 7th july and returned same day. Deposit of 4000.00 taken from my account. Today is the 23th of july and my deposit has disappeared. I made over 20 calls before i was contacted my Nicola the manageress from port elizabeth airport. She emailed me proof of payment and says money has left her account. I have not received it in my account. I have been to my bank thrice and they cannot help. Nicola says money is paid out and there is not much she can do. She expressed her frustration that she must sort out someones elses mistake asmoney was not supposed to be banked out,suppose to be holding deposit. She cannot help. The number for deposit queries is never answered at head office. The numbers for the pe depot and airport are out of order. My sincere advice to anyone who wishes to rent from dollar is... PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. If anyone can help me on what i can to recover my deposit,i would appreciate it.
