Twice in 1 week the courier guy have not booked parcels on time for Takealot CT. Last week Thursday the driver didn't bother pitching because he "had a flat tyre". They collected the next day. Asked Shana Langley to book for Monday which she did. Monday comes and the package isn't delivered. Shana says they cant release as there is a payment intervention. NO ONE mailed me to tell me so i was supposed to just smell this. Missed booking. Thursday 28th booked overnight to CT due on the 3rd. No booking gets made. Shana again tells me the shipment was received after the booking cut off on Friday. It was OVERNIGHT and should have been in their CT depot Friday morning. Missed booking again. They won't tell me what the delay was. The delay was somewhere in their own operation but we must take the knock due to their incompetent staff. TCG are ok but can not handle peak periods and Takealot. Especially TCG CT. TCG JHB is amazing. Precious at least gets it right every time. Been doing this for 8 years. April/May and Nov/Dec they always ****z out'
Worst Takealot preferred courier during peak times The Courier guy \ suck! Worst Takealot preferred ever. Stopped using them for my JHB deliveries in April because they were shocking with bookings. Started taking my own shipments to Takealot JHB and never had a late shipment in JHB since. The Courier guy Cape town - Simply the worst. They dont book shipments in time in peak times - Fathersday/ mothersday, Black friday and christmas trading. They spin out You can mail them - Samantha Baretto, Sharon Anderson and Liesel whoever and they simply ignore you. They dont respond to mails and their phone lines almost never get answered. You will lose money and have your lead times suspended thanks to these guys. Used them for 4 years now and its the same story every year. Does not change
Contacted Vox on the 14th july for home fibre - its the 8th September and i still don't have home fibre from VOX. Dealing with Rhetagan Danster. Barely answers any emails. Was recommended by my neighbor who lives 40 m away. 8 weeks later when i ask WTH they tell me Vumatel says there is no infrastructure - yes because we have Openserve. So it shown they didn't even bother to see which service provider is in the area. What is it too much work? kids keeping you too busy while you work from home?. Already when you do get a call from one of the staff all you hear is kids screaming in the background. You should be embarrassed. The person who recommended you is highly embarrassed. Che Danster dealt with him. You should call him and apologize Che because your team let you down.
I bought a mattress online and battled to get feedback from the Randburg branch. Managed to get a response from Natasha at client services and she turned the whole experience around. Thank you Natasha and KG who assisted.
I purchased a matteress online and made payment on the 18th June. I have not heard ANYTHING regarding my order. I have mail bombed KG because he seems to be the only person available but because he is in Midrand he cant give any answers. Dont waste your time. Lead time is supposidly 5-7 working days - i am on 15 working days with zero info on my order. Rather get in your car and go to a walk in shop. This company is beyond USELESS. I want a refund
Purchased my text books online, then dead silence. They don't answer phones and they don't answer e-mails. I placed an order on Monday 13th, made the payment. I don't mind the wait, but when you call/mail for an ETA - Nothing. Then i logged onto my account and it showed 0 orders. Had to go through my mails to find the receipt and bank statement to prove i had in fact placed the order and paid. Rather go to their shop or just purchase off takealot.
I send approximately 8 large boxes to Takealot per week along with a few small parcels here and there and after 5 years and many courier company disappointments these guys come through each and every time!! Well done MDS. You guys are great.
The driver is argumentative and believes he is doing customers a favor by collecting their parcels, when in fact the customer is Paying for their parcels to be collected??? This is a courier company right? The Takealot preferred bookings lady for JHB tries to cover up issues by lying and when caught out ghosts the customer. She lied twice in one day. Takealot parcels were going to the wrong depot, parcels were ending up with the wrong drivers and bookings started getting missed way too regularly. Closed my accounts after 4 years of dealing with this company and their XOC department. Have found better Takealot preferred couriers and one of them just happens to give the cheaper Takealot rate which the courier guy doesn't.
Absolutely Brilliant. These guys are amazing!!! Never had a second trouble. My parcels are all delivered on time. Tebogo who collects in Allen's nek is Fantastic. He is friendly, professional and empathetic. The best front liner for a business. Thank you Tegogo for being such an awesome person to work with. Absolutely Fantastic company to deal with. Been using a competitor for 4 years and after tons of drama and late parcels i moved over to Courier it. The service has been superb. I place a collection, i send a pre alert for Takealot parcels and they fetch, deliver with no issues. One of the best Takealot preferred couriers. From the driver to management, only brilliant service
