MTN is a ****. I took out a Wifi contract with MTN contact was told that my contract expires the 17th February 2023. I called the call Centre before the 17th Feb 2023 to cancel the contract. I was told to go to the nearest MTN Store to go hand in my the Router, I went to the MTN Store on the 16th February 2023. When I got to the MTN store they told me that I have one of the old routers its one that is already paid for and it belong to me I can do what ever I want with it. The gentleman that was assisting me told me to wait for the 3rd of March 2023 to cancel the contract if he cancels the contract on that day it will just be pending on the system but all along they were playing me they wanted to buy time so that I fall on the new contract I received my Bill Statement on the 17th February saying I now owe MTN R768 from paying R278,97 monthly. They just randomly increased my premium to R768 but they are responsible for delaying my cancellation and made it on purpose so that they can charge me more. How can I pay R768 for data that doesn't even last a month their Data only lasts for 4 days. it get loaded on the 1st Day of every month on the 4th day I already get an error that I have reached my Data limit. Yesterday I was at Game Worcester Mountain Mill Mall. Wow what a bad service I got, in fact I was not served at all. I wen In and saw the Desk I wanted told them to get some one who works in that department she took her time showed her what I wanted she went to the back I stood there like a fool for half an hour with no one bothered to help. I decided to leave because clearly they were not interested in my money I went to go buy the desk somewhere else for a much higher price than what I would have spent at Game. I bought pregnancy pillow L shape and yummy mummy summer combo and paid for both. I used the WhatsApp to communicate with the baby blue accessories team and while placing the order they were very useful and assisted me though out the process of buying. After placing n order I contacted the team again to find out about my order was told that the order has been sent and will be delivered on the third day. However its been 3 weeks now and nothing. I keep sending follow up queries and contacting them with no answer their contact detail are 0813943999, their website is https://www.babyblu.co.za/. They just keep quiet and they don't even bother to respond on the queries. Day light corruption. During pregnancy you want everything to go smoothly. The pillow suppose to make sleeping more comfortable for me since I get cramps. it's unfair to be robbed during this phase in life. I don't recommend this online store to anyone.
I seriously will never be Vodacom customer next year. I have a contracts, spend a whole lot of money in a space of 3 months only , and feel totally unappreciated as a Vodacom customer, so why must I support a communications company that does not appreciate its customers. That's why I will not renew my contract with Vodacom. Last year I had issues with my Data being depleted really quickly and disappearing. I don't use any of the Social media. I took out a package (Vodacom smart m package) I feel like this product is just a waste of money I get nothing out of it. I called to have my contact cancelled I was told I need to pay R 5000 for cancellation, why should I be paying R 5000 for your bad service and this was never explained to me. I will end my Contract as soon as it expires. I am now stuck with a product I have no use of and not happy with. I will never recommend Vodacom to anyone. I regret taking this product in the first place I should have left while I had a chance.
