Two months ago i wrote complaining about being unable to get an invoice for my standard bank card. I received a somewhat snippy phone call to say if i waited till month end then it would be there with the statement. Two months and still no invoice
In September 2024 my card was de*****ed on two occasions. One *****ulent action was refunded but the second has not been. I have written 8 emails to three addresses - Zanel.Ndlovu@standardbank.co.za to :Card*****affidavits@standardbank.co.za and to Complaints@standardbank.co.za. Not one of them will acknowledge my query. It is impossible to speak to a human being. The all appear to hide behind the anonymity of the email defence line.
Two weeks ago I complained to Hello Peter about Vodacom not sending invoices. They responded immediately but guess what - the latest statement has arrived with no invoice Should we be surprised?
I receive a statement every month but i need an invoice. It appears impossible to get thru to any form of customer services without being transferred to toby the bot which cannot resolve the query. Very very frustrating for such a small request
I had a problem with an old ceiling fan. It took only one call the Randburg store for them to forward my problem to a lady named Trevlyn. Trevlyn is an absolute star - she followed up on the problem until is was resolved. So well done to the branch and thank you to Trevlyn
On 1st October WebAfrica installed a 20gig fibre line in my house. Since that time my connection continuously drops, whatsapp calls fall off and simple face book downloads buffer. Other than their sales department It is impossible to get thru to WebAfrica to report this problem. At 1minute past 8 this morning the technical division were warning of a 35minute delay in getting thru.
I bought a Ryobi angle grinder from Builders Express Craighall. It was faulty so after 9 days I took it back, with my receipt, and asked for a replacement. They told me they do not adhere to the Consumer Protection Act and that the machine must be sent to the agent for repair. Multiple emails to their complaints email remain unanswered.
I just had my 1st COVID jab and i want to thank Discovery Sandton operation for the incredible effort they have put in to their members well being. An enormous team of cheerful, helpfull employees. THANK YOU ALL
During the lockdown Planet Fitness closed their Craighall Gym. They did not inform me of their intent but simply moved my membership to their new premises in Sandton Gate As soon as I realised this I wrote to them explaining that the transfer did not suit my requirements - the new gym does not have a pool. They refuse to accept that they have changed the conditions of the contract and equally refuse to cancel my membership and refund the premiums that they have deducted
We suffered a blow-out in Port Elizabeth. Thank you Heinrich from Tiger Wheel & Tyre for getting us back on the road. It was a pleasant surprise to receive such service (We come from Jhb !!!)
