This has become a total *******!! I had to get to Cape Town Airport at 0450 and was worried that no Uber will operate at that time of the morning. A friend told me about Uber Reserve so I tried it and hey presto everything worked perfectly. Until I got the invoice. The quoted fare for the trip was R234. Nowhere at any stage was there ever a mention of a "reservation fee". When I received the invoice I saw that Uber charged me R116 for the pleasure of reserving a ride (50% added to the fare) ... simply added!!! Goodbye Uber ... Never ever again will I use you.
The Google definition of a ***** is "... someone who *****s something ...". Well Dealsdaily took my money, then failed to deliver the product that I paid for, and is now completely ignoring my request for refund. Seeing as the payment happened and delivery was supposed to have happened in December 2022 I can safely assume that they have taken my money and have no intention of delivering the product or refunding my money. Therefore the definition of "*****" describes these guys 100%
These guys are *******!! Ordered a cellphone cover which was scheduled for delivery end December 2022. And despite numerous messages and some responses about "apologies our couriers have let us down" and "we will look into the matter" I am still waiting. So yes, the definition of a ***** is someone who *****s another person's property and in this case Dealsdaily has ****** my money by not delivering the product I paid for.
Five stars does not begin to give justice to the level of service that I received from Postex Couriers. I needed to get documents apostilled at DIRCO (I also had no clue what that meant) and was quoted obscene amounts of money by various "consultants" to do this on my behalf. I stumbled upon Postex through a Google search and from my first enquiry right through to delivering the apostilled documents back the service, advice, guidance and assistance from Kevin, Steve and Liana was patient, accommodating, effective and most importantly the end result was they managed to get very important documents through a Governmental Body Process and back to me well within the time period that I expected. I now want to raise a motion that the Postex team is seconded to Eskom as I have little doubt that within 4 months we will have a reliable electrical supply company.
I should have read Hellopeter before ordering. The item was scheduled for delivery "... between 26 December to 30 December ...". On 3 January 2023 I queried (i.e. zero communication from this bunch) the delivery and was told on 5 December via email that "the courier experienced issues" and deliver should be by next week Friday (i.e 13 December 2023). Needless to say that this morning I emailed "support" with a request for update because nothing has arrived. Do not buy from them as they state a delivery period but good luck when you eventually will receive your delivery.
What a joke!!! My son has two pairs of Nike Rugby boots and as is normal the metal studs wear out. Guess what ... nowhere can you find replacement studs for these boots. So when the studs are worn or you want to get different length studs for different turf conditions according to Nike you buy new boots. And by the way I tried Nike stores in Cape Town plus 4 of their authorised retailers as well as the Nike call center based probably somewhere in China and all I got was they don't even have it on their website.
Here is the reason I have at long last managed to persuade my wife to stop shopping at Woolworths (and I only give one example). Ostrich Fillets at Woolworths @ R279.99 / kg). Ostrich fillets at an opposing retail chain which I won't name but the brand is Ostriland Free Range @ R182.48 / kg!!! But my personal favourite is the claim of Woolworths that they are so environmentally concerned that they are no longer making plastic shopping bags available to shoppers. Somehow that concern does not extend to the packaging of their produce because the amount of plastic wrapping and polystyrene trays used in the packaging of their vegetables is a joke! I suppose the plastic pushes up the weight of the produce and as for the bags, you can buy reusable Woolworths bags!!! As the song goes Woolworths ... Ciao Adios ... my wife is gone!!!
Seriously pathetic processing and delivery service. I received the Rah Rah Rah that my order is on its way last week Thursday and still nothing. I chose delivery to a designated collection point so that I don't have to coordinate someone being at home with the delivery service, was still ripped a whopping R99 for the delivery charges and yet I wait ... and wait ... and wait. My recommendation, pay the extra money on the normal retail price because between delivery costs and the stress of waiting you will probably pay double to buy something through these guys.
Ordered an item and the due date for delivery was stated as 15 January 2021. I continuously checked "my orders" and the "expected delivery" and "late delivery" was stated as 15 January 2021. On 18 January 2021 I wrote Loot an email pointing out that the dates listed i my orders are both come and gone and I have not received the product. So today I get an email stating they cannot source the product and have refunded my credit card plus issued a R50 voucher. They can keep their voucher because poor a voucher does not make up for very poor communication (I wonder how long it would have taken them to respond if I did not write the email) I will not be using Loot again.
Received a stainless steel grill plate as a Christmas gift from my wife (yes we've been married a very long time) and when I used it for the first time the plate buckled while on the gas braai. I retried again two days later and the same thing happened. I wrote a complaint to the Megamaster email address on their website and within two hours received a response from Legae Sethokgoa asking some details (where bought, product details and photos) all of which I sent that same afternoon. And guess what, today less than a week later I received a replacement from MegaMaster. I will try the replacement pan and comment separately but as for customer service I would give them 7 stars if this was an available option.
