We booked and paid for an intercity transfer(E356) a dayin advance with Uber Black from Cortina in Italy to the Val Gardena area. The taxi never arrived with Uber advising after the pickup time that it was unable to find a driver. This left us stuck in the middle of nowhere. No apology or assistance was forthcoming with the website providing no relevant assistance. Dont use this service
Outsurance is the insurer for my wife's house. A leak occurred owing to a burst pipe and we reported this more than 3 weeks ago. The process to appoint a contractor, Ad-Hoc in Pretoria, took a week. A repair was allegedly made but the water loss persisted. We have made repeated appeals but the contractors appointed as well as Outsurance have failed to address the problem or contact us despite Outsurance's promises to report. The water loss cost to date exceeds R11k which Outsurance will not refund as we are not covered for that. The problem is that this loss escalates whilst Outsurance and their contractors dither.
Jareer Bakharia heads up this enterprise. He does not pay his accounts!
My client is a deceased estate; The estate part-owned a property which was bonded to secure an overdraft on a current account. I have not been able to get anyone at FNB to address the issue as to whether the bond could be extended in favour of the co-owner or cancelled.I complained to head office a month ago with absolutely no result. I do not believe that the FNB system functions properly as those who are charged with execution simply don't know what they are doing.
We have vox cable for 6 years now..despite many complaints our signal remains intermittent and slow. We pay for a 100/100 connection and get 6/0.7 speed which is so slow that one cannot even use banking services. Vox promises but 6 weeks later their man has still not arrived.
My spouse app**** for a take-over bond from FNB in June. First the request wast, then the wrong forms were sent. Months later the handler said he did not know what to do (but had not thought to ask!). I complained to all I could find--that was 10 days ago--still nothing. Note it takes less than 2 weeks to grant a new bond!
I rented a Renault Captur via OK Mobility, Portugal. The price was E25 per day for 10 days. Great price. Then comes insurance which is billed as "fully Insured"--also E25 per day. Ok... Then when you get to the counter you are told that the fine print limits that full insurance to 90% of your deposit which is E2000. To upgrade to real full insurace costs another E364. They lure one with cheap rates but load the insurance. On my previous visit they charged me E500 to return the vehicle to its original place of rental--1.5hrs drive away--which was also hidden in the fine print.
Senzo Took the deposit on the quote, cannot repay and does not effect the work paid for. Dont deal with him
I had to report credit card ***** to FNB today. I have held on to 3 different calls, for a total of 45 min or so--not acceptable in an urgent matter
Chery Pietermaritzburg refused to take in a Chery QQ simply because it is nine years old and parts are hard to get. Note that this was before even knowing what the problem was – which appeared to be an issue of adjusting the tappets. I cannot see why one should buy such a vehicle if spares aren't readily available for vehicles that are selling like hot cakes.
