My father canceled his Rain contract mid March 2023 and Rain has still not come to collect their router from him. Instead they have just sent him a message acknowledging his request to cancel and informing him that he still needs to pay them at the end of the current month. This is exactly the same thing they did to me when I cancelled my contract with them, it took Rain 3 months to come and collect the router and they kept insisting that I make payments for the months I have not been using their router for. According to them, the fact that the router was still with me meant that I was still to be billed. This how they ****** money from us! Beware of Rain!
I missed a call for the delivery of a parcel on the 2nd of February and after calling I was told that it would be delivered the following day. On the 3rd I tracked the parcel and it was said to be on the delivery truck the whole day, but later in the even when I checked again it said the driver had attempted to deliver to no avail. This is not true, I never got a call from them today. This is the second time my partner and I are disappointed by this courier services. They service is really poor.
I joined Discovery this month because it is the preferred medical aid of my employers, after completing my application and being accepted as a new member I was told that I would have to serve a 12 month waiting period for my chronic medication. I was told that I needed to lodge an enquiry to have this matter investigated since I had already served a 12 month waiting period with Key Health. They asked me to submit the medical aid certificate showing that I had served the waiting period and I sent it to them and I was told that my case will take 2-3 days. A week later when I called to find out what the outcome was I was told that they did not get my documents. I them resent the documents I sent the previous week but for some reason their system was not generating a reference number for me as it was supposed to and the agent kept telling me that I haven't sent my documents. After countless tries I eventually got the reference number and was told to wait 2-3 more days for an out come. They most frustrating thing about this is that the agent was not willing to understand my frustration, to him, I was not sending the documents. He made me feel like I do not know what I am talking about and did not care what happened to my previous enquiry. This for me was very poor customer service from a market leader who proclaim to be the best in the business. My advise... STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
I have just moved into a new place and I applied for wifi connectivity through RocketNet. I was impressed with how quickly they processed my application but since I was told that I have connectivity, I have been struggling to get hold of them to help me connect to their network. I have emailed them and sent them whatsapp messages with no luck. What a disappointment after an exciting beginning...
I have been trying to cancel my Rain subscription since March 2022 to no avail. Every month I call them to find out why they have not come to collect their 5G router they try to make me pay for a service I haven't used. My concern is that this is kow affecting my credit score because every time I call them and ask them why they haven't fetched they keep telling me that my account is in arrears. Arrears that were cause by their failure to collect the router. I have already paid them for a month where I did not use their services and refuse to pay them anything further. If you are thinking of getting their service... DON'T!!!
I bought a wave android tv box from takealot earlier this year for streaming purposes. On the whole the box performed really well until I tried to load Netflix on it, it keeps telling me that it is not compatible. So I decide to get in touch with Wave Innovate to see if they could help me out, it been 5 days and counting with no reply. The last I heard from them was that they were trying to get their orders out before the lockdown.
Was happy for the great service I received when taking up a new insurance product for my new car last week Friday (2019/08/16) but only to find out the following week that they did not listen to my requested to be debited on a certain date and as such I now have a returned debit order on my account, and to top it off they tell me to expect another debit order on a day I did not ask them to debit me on which will make it two returned debit orders in the same month on my account. This is really unacceptable because it is my credit record they are tarnishing and all they can tell me is that they are sorry it happened.
I have been banking with Capitec now for the last couple of years and to be honest they have been great. Last year they gave me a loan of about R42000 which had to be paid over a period of 8 months and I manged to pay it without any problems, the last installment was paid in December 2017. The suprising thing though is that since then they keep telling me that my applications for a loan are declined because of my bad credit record. I have contacted both Experian and TransUnion to check my credit record and according to them I have a clean record with a good score. I have also check my record on the Capitec app which has a credit rating tool, it too says that I have a good record but every time I walk into a branch for finance they decline saying that my record is poor. The sad thing is that no one in the branch can tell me why I have a poor record with them. they get my salary deposited into my accout every month, the only finance they ever gave me I paid off with out missing an instalment... So as far as I am concerned my record with them should be very good. Now I need to attend my uncle's funeral in Lesotho and they will not even give me R5k after I had no problem paying R42k.
