Quick and professional service. Also love the fact that communication was good and I was phoned as soon as they arrive at my place. Level of service remained the same for all deliveries I received from them.
Bought two items from them online. The products were exactly what was advertised and very good quality. The purchasing and dispatch processes were professional and quick.
After a power outage the internet went down. With numerous attempts to get assistance I was told that both the towers close to me is down. I am not getting proper feedback or assistance on the matter. Rain do not follow up and also does not supply feedback on tickets logged. It is now 42 hour and counting that I have been without internet connection and this for someone working from home...... After MANY years of being a loyal client, I think it is time to move on.
I have been a loyal customer for a very long time and am trying to upgrade one of my contracts (I have 3 with MTN). An MNT agent phoned me on 30 August to initiate an upgrade on the number in question. The lady was very friendly and helpfull and it seemed like I was recieving great service. Everything was successful and I received the new contract on mail and awaited delivery. This is where it went wrong as I never received the phone. I tried getting support on messenger on 20 September 2023 and was promissed a call withing 24 to 48 business hours. It is now 2 October 2023 and I have not yet recieved a call. When trying to upgrade online I get an error that I have an unfulfilled order. On the MTN app the contract expiry date changed to the new one. I am not gettng the needed assstance or feedback and it feels like I am running in circles. This is very bad service and I am VERY FRUSTRATED with the lack of support.
As per delivery information, there is a 7 to 15 day transit time. Excluding public holidays and weekends I am now on day 18 and the only tracking confirmation I see is that the order was confirmed. Everything on the site works well up to the point where the payment was made and then the service dies and turns into frustration. I can understand why Dealhub only achieved a 1.7 out of 10 trust index rating

So after months of struggling and complaining about poor speeds and stability, I get the below reply saying they cannot help me, 4G/5G/LTE is best effort and that I should look for another service provider if I am still experiencing issues... The only problem is there's high utilization on the actual site which leads to your slow speeds experience. The business is looking into the matter, hoping the capacity on the actual towers will be increased soonest to accommodate the current high utilization .. If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps as previously advised as well as optimizing your signal by trying to find the best optimal spot for your device, there's nothing else we can do from the customer support end to improve your speed limits. Remember the service we provide is wireless internet connection not Fiber To Your Home with stable internet speeds. Rain’s 4G/LTE and 5G networks provide a best-effort service, and while Rain endeavors to provide the best experience possible, Rain provides no speed guarantee for either its 4G/LTE and 5G services. At the moment you as the customer with the experience you have with our internet connection, you will let us no if the service is not completely working for you then we recommend you cancel the services as it's not fair for you to pay for what you not getting. "
Still the most disappointing internet service provider in my area. Very unstable connectivity, very poor speeds and the kind of service and feedback you could expect from a rock. This forces complaints like the below on their site for which I will most probably not even get a constructive reply.... I am so frustrated..... "Rain is off.... AGAIN!! I am connected, but no internet. I have been patient until now as I wanted it to work in my area and I wanted to assist Rain to sort connectivity out in my area, but clearly this is a one way street as Rain does not share the same passion. But it is getting too much now. All I need is a stable connection with acceptable speed. All I am getting is the most unstable connection I have ever had with speeds that would even disappoint a turtle........"
Continuous complaints to them with regards to poor speeds and connectivity. Only coming back to me when they want... if at all and with poor excuses. They always blame it on the high demand which is pathetic seeing that they should grow their infrastructure and coverage according to their growing client base. This excuse does not work anymore. I upgraded from 19/7 unlimited package to the 24/7 unlimited package... no change in service or coverage. I upgraded my router by buying a new one.. still no better response or service. Not sure what the next step is.... Hopefully I can find a better provider with better service and coverage. PS - MTN and Vodacome coverage, speeds and connectivity via my 3G contracts is 10x better than the 4G package from Rain.
MY 1st order from them in 2019 went very well and product delivered. I placed an order for a Daihatsu Sirion window switch (order number 8010439947297318), made the payment and according to the last tracking update in March the parcel was delivered to the SA post office. I wanted to go back to check on the tracking on the AliExpress website, but the order is no longer listed under All Orders when logged in to my account as if the order never existed. I know what I ordered and I have proof of payment. I tried the chat option on the AliExpress site, but this proved to not be helpful at all. I want to know what happened with my order and why is it not listed. What is my next step?
