Waterfall Licensing department gets a 5 star rating. The lady in charge was efficient, knowledgeable and an excellent manager of the centre. Opened at exactly 07h00, everything was explained in detail and her attention to the people was exemplary. Whilst the person attending to me personally was unfriendly, the experience of the way the place was managed is an example of what government services COULD be like.
Big shout out to Cricket SA for proving commentary of the woman's world cup semi-final. Jenna was excellent!! DSTV has captured the sports arena and no radio stations were providing any coverage. Very sad for South Africans. Battled for hours to find commentary. Eventually found CSA website. But heads up and big thank you to CSA!!

Although Mweb really messed up the move of my line from one address to another and it is impossible to speak to a human being unless you used all your airtime waiting for them to answer; they did refund the days without connection and made a good will gesture for the amount of data I had to buy to keep myself connected. So all in all not a bad experience but it would be nice if they operated 7 days a week and made it more affordable to speak to support personnel. Also if their services were more accessible instead of only the call centre and online query log which more often than not is ignored.

No so Caring: Santam travel insurance fail Pensioner A retired teacher bought travel insurance through TIC underwritten by Santam in February 2020 not expecting COVID-19 to foil their dream holiday. R4,315,00 paid to TIC for insurance and not a cent paid out when travel was banned during SA's shutdown and they could not go on their trip. CEO Lizé Lambrechts described Santam as “a caring South African corporate”, which is working alongside Government and other stakeholders to help alleviate the suffering of fellow South Africans and to minimise the financial impact of this crisis. (reference: IOL article 08 July 2020). This is not a caring organisation!

Renier Janse van Rensburg with a 706 mobile. Do not use him. He charged R 3500.00 for a prepaid conversion and did nothing for 5 months. When I got the job done, he refused to reimburse the money, saying he had paid people to "speed up" the installation. Arrogant and unfriendly.
