When I ordered a pair of shoes and some trousers which were promised delivery within 5 business days, this fitted in narrowly with a departure for Europe for a family wedding that I needed the shoes for. The package was dispatched late due to a warehouse relocation by My Runway ( which they admitted to....credit to them for that) and it meant that it would only be delivered the day AFTER my departure flight. I contacted their help desk and was assisted by an extremely helpful and competent customer service assistant ( five stars to her) who initially advised that the package could be delivered on a Saturday for an additional fee but as the delay was a My Runway issue, she would request that they carry the additional cost for the weekend delivery. My package was duly delivered today ( a Saturday ) as promised and in time for my flight tomorrow. The only issue I would highlight is that My Runway did not follow up to confirm that they had arranged the Saturday delivery & I had to contact the courier to find out if I would be receiving my package today or going on a last-minute shoe hunt. But excellent service from a company that already offers cut-priced quality clothing. I am very impressed and grateful.
First time I have ordered through Temu and was skeptical but came out highly satisfied with the process. Excellent prices, good quality items, clear & constant communication throughout and prompt delivery ( split into two parcels) by both DPD Laser & Buffalo. Well done Temu.
Paid in full for an order in March. Never heard from them again. Address and phone number false. Do NOT use unless you want to wave your had earned cash goodbye.
Just ordered a book online from Exclusive - cheapest price available and delivered gift wrapped with personalized message to my local store at no charge on the SAME DAY.... and all this just before Christmas. Well done, Exclusive Books ! Outstanding service.
Important parcel posted by registered mail on Isle of Jersey on 14 May. Arrived in Joburg on 17 May and disappeared into the black hole of the Postal service sorting room. No response to emails. How can a country function if it has no efficient postal service ?????? Imagine the business opportunities for South Africans if they had a reasonable , trustworthy and efficient postal service that would enable them to compete in international markets for goods and services. Instead we are lumped with Mark Barnes sad and pathetic excuse for a 'service'.....

In August 2015 we had our Telkom line replaced with a fibreoptic line ( which was taken out in my husband's name). At the time, I emailed a request to disconnect our landline ( which was removed when they fitted the fibre in any case) and I settled the final account I received. Then a year later, I received a call from a debt company informing me that I owed Telkom R300 . I told them I had not had a Telkom line for a year and they asked me to contact Telkom to sort out the matter. I did so on 2 ocassions...8/8/2016, when i spoke to 'Tessa" and 12/9/16 when I spoke to 'Cindy'. I was told on both ocassions that they could see what the problem was and that they would escalate the matter to cancel the erroneous debt. A year down the line, I am still being harrassed and threatened on my cell number by debt collectors for this supposed 'debt'. Unfortunately I am a doctor, so am unable to switch off my phone.

My father-in-law also cancelled HIS landline in June 2016 in person AT THE TELKOM OFFICE . He passed away in February this year but is STILL receiving accounts for his non-existent phone line, which we dutifully return to Telkom every month.

Is it absolutely impossible to get a phone line disconnected by Telkom or to sort out disconnection issues ????? My experience has shown that it clearly does not help to spend 30 minutes on the phone to their call centre to try to resolve the matter..... sort yourselves out Telkom.

Voyager has changed their miles system. When you now go onto their website , you are faced with gobbeldygook about Dynamic and Journeyblitz and Star awards......but nowhere do they actually tell you how many miles you need for a ticket. So you phone the helpline, hoping to book a ticket for an overseas holiday with your preciously saved 100 000 miles ( which used to be sufficient ). Only to be told that the number of miles now varies according to demand but that the minimum required for a ticket from Joburg to London is 140 000... ONE WAY. Guess who will never be flying SAA again if I can at all help it....and who will be cancelling my Voyager credit card for one with rewards that I can actually use.
