I've requested withdrawal forms 2 weeks ago and followed it up several times, but with no joy.
On the 11th of April 2025, we were travelling to a Private Game Lodge, I lost the left rear wheel of my Hilux. The vehicle was then transported to Toyota Malelane, I spoke to Marnus Wolhuter and the service that I received was really on a next level. First of all he arranged for a vehicle and a driver to transport us to the Private Game Reserve. I received the Pro Forma Invoice, paid the required amount and the fixed Hilux was returned to me at the Game reserve by his driver. What a great experience after the traumatic mishap. Death claim was submitted 12/02/2025, we've been following up weekly and receive absolutely no feedback to us or the client and no payment was done.
Our client passed away last year. Since 10/2024 we try to do a cession on a policy of his daughter. All requirements were submitted and still cession is not completed. Old Mutual sent an e-mail yesterday requesting a cession form to be completed and submit to them, which was already done on several occassions.
I lodged a compliant a week ago and after several follow ups I only received feedback this morning on the claim, first that they will need a further 10 working days and then they requested the X-ray report, although the updated medical reports has been submitted almost a month ago, they only give attention to it now.
We submit a sickness claim. Only 50% of claim was paid and after several enquiries on why only 50% was paid, new requirements was requested. It was submitted and PPS confirmed to give feedback within 10 working days. It's been followed up, but still no feedback or payment.
Death certificate was submitted 22/11/2023 and we've been following up with Sanlam, but no feedback is given.
I have two tracker accounts,. Since 20/02/2024 I've received an sms that the unit is not functional. After various phone calls from me, a technician came to me to fix the unit 29/02/2024. Barely an hour after he left I got the same signal again. Now they must come out again. I'm not satisfied at all.
Death claim was submitted 09/02/2024, we've been following up time and again and don't get any feedback on the claim.
Trauma claim was submitted for client. Sanlam declined the claim and said when the condition change to dialysis client can inform them to reconsider. But all the reports were submitted with original claim, everything was send again. And again Sanlam came back and decline with same reason.
