My name is Neo I wrote on this platform about my experience with FNB insurance, I submitted a claim on 28 July for an accident . My claim was approved and authorized 15 August. On the 5th of September I was told I need to submit car papers so that they can pay me out of. Today is 12th of September nothing has been effected. Today I spoke to claim handler her name is Refilwe who told me the payment needs signatures from many people . Yesterday I spent whole day calling them and they kept on telling me they are waiting for a form. I complained to a lady from complaints department , her name is Brenda she did nothing about whole of this . They are not who they say they are. At some point a claim handler by the name of Clifort once told me his colleague that I spoke to previously is not at work not knowing I spoke the person early that day . It’s a ****. They are selling lies . Since I submitted the claim no one gets to call u and update u. All u need to do u must run after them then they will update u . When u are in an accident they even go as far as calling ur partner and ask her if she knows u were in an accident coming from whatever location u were at. About is happening there
My name is Neo I wrote my story on the 12th of August about my ordeal with FNB insurance. They eventually authorized my claim but currently there is round 2 of a problem. Upon authorizing repairs for my car the repairs company established that FNB appointment assessor had under assessed my vehicle and there were additionals. I drove to Renew-it to speak to them about it. They explained to me the process. On the 28th of August their assessor wrote an email advising them it was not economical to fix the vehicle however his manager Mr Nicolas visser sent an email that the car will be fixed. When I called FNB I spoke to Zamisa,Clifort, Sharon who all pretended not to know all the info I have given them not knowing I have a copy of an email that was sent to them and they were all copied. After all this FNB has never bothered to call me and inform me about all this developments since 15 August 2025. Today all above claim handlers told me they knew nothing they are waiting for a report from Renew-it when I have an email from renew -it that they have played their part and informed relevant stakeholders holders that my vehicle file is closed . They told me Nicolas is the one who knows everything .
I was involved in an accident on 27 July and registered a claim on 28th . A validator was asked to take care of my claim. He asked I sign a document that will allow him to access my information and asked I furnish him with accident report of which I did promptly. To my surprise 3 days latter he asked me via Whatsap I should give him my wife’s phone numbers without explanation for the request. He then called my wife and asked her where she was on the day of the accident, I dnt know wht is the relevance in this regard. Myself and the third party on the accident both went and reported the matter to the police for the AR. The validator went to the establishment I visited before the accident and told management he needed a footage of me because I caused an accident where I have injured the third party when the facts are not so, at the same he had obtained witness statement from the third party and asked the third party if I was intoxicated or not. On 11 August the Validator called me and told me FNB insurance demands I must go to the establishment and demand a receipt that corresponds to a transaction in my bank statement so that they can settle the claim, even today I don’t know wht bearing does that have on my claim when I have furnished the validator with all possible documents , he even asked for my service history of which I gave. Stay away from FnB short term insurance, they are not who they say they are. validator made me feel I was at his Mercy. All what he did is not in line with PPR regulations
FNB car insurance delaying to finalize a claim on time
My Name is NEO 0718817320, on the 15/12/2021 I purchased a Defy stove from Game festival mall in Kempton Park, I paid cash R4699. 00 and I was sent to collect it from Germiston warehouse of which I did. On arrival home before installing it I realised it was faulty. I returned it to the shop, gave them the receipt and the gave me another one. 5 months latter in May 2021 the stove inside oven broke while I was grilling. I reported to the shop they told me they want a receipt so that they can book it for repairs. I told them I lost the slip, they asked me when did I buy and how much did I pay. I gave them dates and price. A month latter they call me, telling me they can't find my slip accordingly they will book it for Defy and unfortunately I have to pay Defy for the repairs... How is it unfortunate? What is unfortunate is for me to repair at my cost for something that is still under warranty. I contacted head office who told me they will avert to me. I am still waiting
My name is NEO, I bought a couch from Rochester that came with a defect. They came to fetch it and latter refused to fix it. It's been 5 months they dnt want to return it back fixed or unfixed. I called call center and I was told it is in JD supply chain in Spartan Kempton Park. I called 011 571 8000 and spoke to Marty who told me her boss Ntombi tells her they will return it on 9 December 2020.they didn't bring and I called again today, Marry told me she doesn't know what happened. I asked to speak to Ntombi and I was told bosses dnt speak to customers. What do I do coz I want my couch.
<div>My name is Neo, yesterday I got a call from a consultant named Evodia, immediately when she told me she was from Miway insurance and she's offering a car insurance I immediately told her I was not interested. Today I received an alert from transunion that an enquiry was done on my profile by Miway insurance. I called Miway insurance today to complain about the mater, after explaining to them what happened they all pretended my line was not okay they cudnt hear what I was saying. The third one by the name of Deon kept me on the line for 10 minutes without saying anything but only playing music on my ear. I spoke to my lawyers who advised me to speak to Miway if we can solve this amicably (write me an apology letter and rectify with transunion) they further advised if no solution is reached it's then they can come in. </div>
Hi.on Friday 10th October I wrote a review about dial direct delaying to process a claim. I was told that They have assigned a new investigator as the one who started it was sick. On Monday 15th a person came to the estate I stay who turned to be not the one I was told about. He confirmed my adress and asked the securities if indeed i resided at the adress. On 17th got a response that dial direct won't be paying my claim because based on the investigation they did. I didn't cause the accident, I was third party and the person Who who caused accident admitted she was wrong.Her insurance foned me at some point to verify the events and I cooperated and told me they will ne waiting for my insurance to contact them coz it is their client who created all this and shensays honest and told them. To my surprise dial direct does not want to pay for the claim and did not even engage the other party"s insurance.The original investigator is on record saying he went to my mother's adress address to interview her of which it's pure lies he only phoned her. If an investigator can lie, what is more in it ?Pls help
