I wanted to cancel my car insurance policy because i had a better offer wait for my in terms of monthly premium. But Mr Nkosinathi Shezi explained very well the advantages of remaining as a client for long and and the disadvantages of starting a new policy at a different service provider. And not that he convicted me to stay with auto and gen but being a loyal client for more than 7 years, that brings about me having paid over a 100k of premium which may have a positive influence when i happen to claim in future. Mr Nkosinathi was polite and straight forward with his advice.
Tebogo Masilo assisted me very quickly with testing the tracking unit and updating the location of the vehicle by rebooting the app.
I would like to raise few concerns regarding the appointment arrangements: with HP Inc. Hemmersbach South Africa (PTY) LTD 1. During our phone conversation, we agreed that the engineer/technician would be onsite at 09:00. However, the email I received reflects a full-day window of 09:00 to 17:00, which does not align with what was confirmed telephonically. 2. I waited the entire day for feedback or an update, but I did not receive any communication until 16:39, when I was informed that my phone was allegedly sending calls to voicemail. This was surprising, as I did not receive any missed calls or notifications throughout the day. And besides that, i understand that they have my second contact number as they were also used during the 1st engineer's visit. 3. This is now the third time in a month the office/engineer has gone through an entire appointment day without providing timely updates, leaving me waiting without any communication. This recurring pattern is concerning and reflects poorly on the service experience.
I called in to do a yearly review of my car insurance policy as the premiums go up every year. Tyre Claim. On Monday (08/04/2024) i called claim department but no answer in more than 5 attempts. Tuesday more than 3 attempts while i also sent an email. They responded to the email but when i reply they never said anything or even call me after i've asked them to call me. Now it's Wednesday where i have managed to get someone to assist. I am claiming for two tyre which are not even repairable, meaning my car is not drivable. Pictures of Two tyres means they won't even fit to be emailed as the size limit on public/private mail server. Now the are also telling me that their WhatsApp line is not working and there is no other way for me to send pictures. Overall experience is that i have spend more than 200 bucks while on the call waiting to get someone to assist me over the phone and even today my claim has not be delt with. I AM CANCELLING THIS POLICY AND TAKING LEGAL ACTINS TO GET ALL MY PREMIUMS BACK.
Got a tyre punch on the N1 at 5AM. Octavia Phasha, she didn't take 5min to locate a third party (breakdown) to come and assist. And she also followed up if i got the assist that i needed. I'm giving her **** because the system will never be perfect but I'm a happy client.
First of all i requested a Flat Tyre Change Assistance on the 30 August 2021. The technician came to my location without having any working tool! After few days, i called and report the matter and even indicated to them that the technician must come with what kind of wheel spanner since the one that i have cannot perform the work properly due to the way the tyre has be tighten from the manufacturer. Still the technician came empty handed! :-( Now i had to drive with a flat tyre while damaging my rim just to get my own assistant. After that, i called A&G to claim for a new tyre!........ To cut the story short, i never got the full service and i always had to call them again and again to do the follow-up as they never get back to me after promising to give me feedback. I decided to buy a new tyre by myself while i was busy fighting with them until they told me the will check how much i qualify for the cashback as i have send then the pictures of the tyre and the measurements of the threads. Still waiting for the feedback, i only received half of the cost that i was suppose to receive with no information why or how was the outcome calculated. With my overall experience, Insurance Companies was suppose to be painkiller or to simplify our lifestyle but hey!....this is a living hell. Insurance Companies are daylight robbers.
