I never thought that a dream of mine to do my degree was ever possible. Growing up, we did not have opportunities to study further, like most "normal" people. Bought groceries and FNB deducted the amount from my account twice. I logged a request for reversal, sent through forms and proof. All on the 27th of September 2023. Till this day i have not received any feedback nor my money back. On the secure chat the one person is more useless than the other. They lie and tell you it has been escalated but it never is. The FNB automated email response says 5 days...we are way passed that. When you call and waste hundreds of rands on airtime you get sent from pillar to post and the one person knowing less than the other. You pay INSANE monthly fees for the most pathetic service ever added with lies on top. I want my money back.
I am past the point of frustrated with Sanlam. My Mother had a retirement annuity fund with Sanlam. My Mother passed away little over a month ago. I have submitted all the requested documents. They keep giving you the runaround. Every time you phone they tell you that you need to submit more documents. Then you wait 10 days and when you call for an update. Then when you call again they need more documents. It is never ending. Why not just tell you from the start what they need. Or phone the person who submitted the claim and tell them what they still need? Yesterday i phoned again and i had to submit more documents. Now i get an email stating i need to sign the document that says that we waive the right to claim the fund benefits. And if i dont i need to send proof that i was dependent on my Mother which i was not. Where in your life. My Mother paid for this policy and she stipulated how the funds should be paid out. These policy companies have zero idea what added stress they place on you. Having to deal with the loss of a spouse and parent is traumatic enough. Then you have to deal with all of this incompetence week after week.
Signature Scents are scammers. Paid thousands on perfume and they don't communicate at all. I have asked for a refund and get no response. When you phone the number it says that the number does not exist. They only work on Whatsapp and don't take any calls. Paid the money to the account that was provided for Mathabo Phalatse, the account is with Capitec. They are scammers. Please stay away. Don't order from their website - www.signaturescents.co.za. You will never see your order and you wont get your money back. If there was an option to give a less than zero rating i would give it. Words cannot describe the utter frustration and disappointment i have with Takealot. Time after time i have purchased cosmetics from Takealot and every single time i purchase any cosmetics, eyeshadow in particular, the goods are damaged and broken. I have said this multiple times before but i am seriously done with Takealot. Another order was placed (Order #107269002) and as could be expected the cosmetics were yet again broken. Its not even worth sending it back because the chances that the new product will be broken as well is 99.9%. I have thrown away so many orders where things were broken. They have no respect for anyone's orders. How incompetent are the people who pack customers orders? Can they not use their brain to think that some things have to be bubble wrapped or even wrapped in paper? They just throw your orders in an oversized box with nothing to protect it from being damaged. Not to mention the way the delivery guys handle the packages. Your packaging department should really go and get some lessons from Sheglam Cosmetics on how cosmetics should be packed or even Shein. Going forward i will warn everyone i can that they should never buy any cosmetics from Takealot. Rather buy it from the distributors yourself. Not only will your order be packaged properly but you will pay a quarter of the price as Takealot adds a massive markup on the exact same products and deliver them to you damaged and broken. Does no one take pride in their jobs anymore? How pathetic can one company be that they don't even have quality checks in place? We as customers don't get our orders for free...we pay for it. FINISHED WITH TAKEALOT!!
Despite the insane tariffs you pay on the water usage, their meter reading guy hit my dog with his clip board because she barked at him this morning. She is a toypom and has never bitten anyone. When i yelled at him and asked what he thinks he is doing he ran away. After speaking to a manager at the Lynnwood branch the guy came back and said sorry and that he did not hit her. I saw him hit her. His words "i just wanted to see if she would bite me". Ok so you are contradicting yourself and admitting that you wanted to provoke her? Unacceptable to say the least. Had she bitten him he would have sued me but its ok for him to hit and provoke my dog? What if she got hurt? Who would pay the vet fees? Not happy.
I have been calling and emailing and i have even submitted requests on their website. Their website says 21 business days...its been 5 months and no one assists. You get the same automated email response every single time. If i had to deliver such bad service i would honestly have been without a job.
These people are the worst. I had a contract with Vodacom years ago. A Vodacom consultant confirmed that the contract was cancelled. Now these people are harassing my family members and sharing all my details with them. I've sent 4 emails to them already and today they told my family that I never sent anything. They have the worst customer service.
