During a recent visit to the Nedbank branch in Woodlands, Pretoria, extremely poor customer service was experienced. The kind makes you want to close your account of many years. Asking for a place where the service, or lack thereof, could be rated, the unfriendly member of the personnel gave me an email address: client@nedbank.co.za. Amazingly I received an almost immediate response on my complaint: Delivery has failed - The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages! Banking has changed into an electronic environment, but from time to time one needs to visit a branch. When in Pretoria, stay away from Nedbank Woodlands!
The slang term 'OMG' popularised by US media only means one thing. The Sorbet group uses 'OMG' as a national advertising slogan. My family and I, former customers of the Sorbet group, will not be using the group again and hopefully more people will vote with their feet.
After being referred to TBA Tools in Hennopspark, Centurion, for a part on a drill press, I was received by friendly personnel who ordered the part that I required and had it delivered to my house the very next day. Exemplary service. Thank you, TBA Tools.
As an online supplier of major brands of tools and machinery, including Festool, Bosch, Makita, Metabo and Kreg, Chavda International must be way up there as one of the best. They are willing to walk the extra mile for customer service, someting that many other suppliers can learn from and their prices are definitely extremely competitive. Being relatively new in the market, Chavda International certainly already deserves to be considered as a supplier of choice to the industry!
What a pleasant surprise! Stopping for a quick snack and coffee, just to be treated with an A-class burger and probably the best French toast ever. Nina's was quite busy around early lunch, but the service was still prompt and friendly.
After taking my BMW to Hi-Q Autowiel in Menlyn, Pretoria, I drove to the Western Cape. Two or three times I heard a strange banging noise. I took the car to a tyre/shock dealer in Stilbaai just to be informed that the stabilizer bar on the right front was never fitted. It was connected at the top, with the nut only hand-tightened and the bottom end was hanging loose. The dealer said I was lucky to be alive after driving around 1500 kilometers on highways and through mountain passes like that. In the left front the electronic sensor on the arm was not fitted and was loose.
Today I experienced the worst service ever in a restaurant in South Africa. Doppio Zero was quite busy but obviously had trouble managing their floor and staff. The food took extremely long to be prepared and a number of patrons seemed agitated. We queried our food not being brought out with the floor manager - to no avail. After 40 minutes the waiter came back to inform us that the kitchen lost our order and he would have to take a new order! We left. The service and food at the restaurant next door that we immediately went to were much better. Sorry Doppio Zero, after many happy visits you won't see us again!
Having received good service from the Swatch store in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre Pretoria before, I went there without hesitation when my Swatch watch's battery died. The personnel was friendly, as always and changed the battery in my watch in a minute. I also commented about a bad scratch that I got on my watch face. Without any comments one of the personnel took an electric buff and buffing compound out of a cupboard and commenced to buff my watch face to a perfect 'as new' state! I was very impressed - but that was not all! When I asked what I owe them for the work they said nothing. What? Nothing? In these days? I could not believe my ears. So I only wanted to pay for the battery. No sir, that is free as well. With total amazement we left the store, sure to go back and definitely considering some more of the beautiful watches they have in stock. Thank you ladies!
What a pleasant surprise. Good quality, well prepared and beautifully presented food, served by friendly personnel. Pricing might, unfortunately, affect regular support if the location is taken into account.
What a lovely surprize. The food at Cullinary Table is very good and the range of products in the shop is second to none. Unfortunately the restaurant, especially outside, is extremely noisy and, although all items are made fresh, the service is very slow. Still worth traveling to this venew.
