This municipality is absolutely *********** and useless. I recently moved in to Mountain View, and for the past 3 months, there has not been a single week that we didn't have problems with electricity or water. These ********s want us to pay pay pay, but can't deliver. To top it all of, my dustbin has only been cleared once in the last 2 months as it is broken and I am waiting for 3 weeks for my replacement bin after I have requested. I would never recommend them!
I have moved homes last month and for some reason I am stuck without internet from this morning and missing important meetings due to the fact. When first I checked my account it looked like there was outstanding amounts but no debit order went off. Now I am waiting for half an hour to speak with a consultant on WhatsApp as they don't have customer care call Centre agents. Please webafrica, fix this.
In May 2024, I bought a used vehicle from DriveRite and upon delivery of the vehicle I encountered the first mechanical issues with the vehicle. I informed the dealership about said issues and they promised to get it resolved. After a few days of not being informed of progress or next steps I received the car back, however under 30km's of driving the vehicle even more warning lights came on. From there the vehicle was in and out of workshops for months, and in a matter of almost 4 months I haven't been able to drive the vehicle for more than 4 consecutive days without needing repairs or being too afraid to drive with it. Eventually they agreed to have the vehicle replaced. Initially they went and app**** for financing on my behalf for vehicles I have not requested. After a few days I found a vehicle that would suit the budget and I requested them to get me that specific vehicle from a specific dealer, however, they proceeded to source the vehicle from a different dealer causing more delays. After taking delivery of the new vehicle the previous vehicle account should have been settled by them. A week later the debit order for the broken vehicle once again went off my account. This account is now hurting my credit score as I have to vehicle finance accounts active on my credit report and thus prevents me from securing a decent loan which I will require soon. The dealer principal at DriveRite Kyalami, refuses to take my calls and their F&I guys also can't assist with this matter apparently. After weeks I am still left in the dark and have now been forced to lay a complaint at the Motor Industry Ombudsman to find some form of resolution. I am utterly dissatisfied with the service and products of this company and will not refer anyone to them. Only deal with DriveRite if you have a couple thousand Rands to throw down the drain.
We stay at Alcmaria complex in Centurion and the whole complex fibre is supplied by vumatel infrastructure. For the last 3 to 4 months we have had such intermittent connection and people here can rarely work from home as the fibre is constantly off. Vumatel just always replies with their pathetic attempts to blame old SADV infrastructure but are not willing to lift a finger to assist in getting the problem rectified. I feel this is absolutely poor workmanship and very bad business. If I recommend everyone to stay as far away from Vumatel and their incredibly overpriced products which offer next no service and satisfaction or any value, I would! We have started communication with metro fibre to attempt to rectify the situation in our complex and I believe that we'll find a suitable solution with them so we can get rid of the ridiculous Vumatel scam.
For the first while doing business with Webafrica was a pleasure and consultants were quick to assist. As of yesterday evening we started having outages at the worst of times. For the 2 hours that we really need connectivity our fibre was not working. The same happened today and I have not yet managed to get hold of a consultant to assist through the whatsapp channel. This is starting to become immensely annoying as I feel we are all being held ransom by all ISP's. If the problem persists and I wish to cancel, where do I go? Are there even any ISPs that can guarantee better uptime? Come on guys get your act together, help me give you guys a five star rating again!
I have ordered my Fibre internet installation through WebAfrica (who's customer support has been incredibly good thus far). I have recieved my router the following day. I am currently having issues with my 5G connection hence the upgrade to fibre. We are now going on week 2 of awaiting a call from Vumatel for installation as WebAfrica refused to allow me to buy the necessary things to do installation myself. I have not heard anything from Vumatel as of yet and they will be the reason I cancel my contract with WebAfrica.
Upgraded online last weekend. Device was to be delivered today. Courier arrived and would not accept Driver's Licence, Firearm Licence or copy of ID document. I requested to pickup the parcel after work and Vodacom denied as "we do not allow pickups". RAM couriers was then contacted to rerequest delivery today as I had my original ID delivered to me, I was told "IF the driver is still in the area, they will deliver"..what are the odds? Due to bad protocols and the courier driver ignoring my call just after he left has led to strongly considering cancelling the contract completely if it doesn't arrive today. People, you should honestly start putting customer satisfaction as a priority and thus will receive more business. I understand that original identification is important but seriously, why not consider a valid driver's license as original identification?
Another unhappy customer. They will not accept an original driver's license, fire arm license, or copy of original ID document with the ID holder present to deliver a package. This is absolutely pathetic and I don't understand how any of the above does not qualify as identification. Will be arranging to pick up my parcel at the warehouse this afternoon. Lets see if it as much of a hassle as it is to just get something delivered. You guys honestly need to up your game. I can not understand how anyone would prefer RAM as their primary courier company.
This is my third complaint after the third time I sent a complaint mail to Bayport client services regarding harassment (10+ unsolicited Phonecalls a day), they claim that they will have my number removed every time yet I still keep receiving phonecalls from ( ********** 000) everyday almost hourly! If anyone can assist please do.
I have previously logged a complaint through Bayport's website as well as a review here on hellopeter.com regarding unsolicited phone calls over 10 times a day. I used to receive on average between 8 and 22 calls from two different numbers belonging to Bayport. I have already warned that a case will be opened through the consumer board. Bayport complaints staff has contacted me and asked whether I was still getting phone calls and I replied that I was - although as of then only from one number, about 10 calls a day. This is absolutely pathetic! I will take things further as of next week Monday ( 10/12/2018) at 1pm should I receive one more phone call from Bayport. I also have a hunch that Bayport might have sold my contact details to a company called Finance 27, as I have received an sms telling me that I am pre-approved for a short term loan.(For which I have never even applied) If any person from Bayport Financial Services is actually reading this, please contact me very urgently per email.
