I just wanted to send a massive shout-out to Game, in Vincent. After a frustrating and horrible experience with Makro online. Game saved the day. The chair I ordered online was delivered with ALL of the components AND it arrived the next day. Keep up the good work.
I have lost my confidence in this company. I ordered a chair online and it had missing parts and their only solution was that I return it and they'll issue a refund and I order again. I do all of that and order the chair again but this time, its a cheap version of the chair, it has POOR craftsmanship. The welding is atrocious, I still cant believe that Premier mart sent this nonsense. I am beyond livid right now. Once again I have to log a return and wait 7 days for a refund. I'm over this company and the way they do things. You're wasting people's time!! I wish I could attach a pic of this chair, its shocking. I opened the box and was so defeated.
This company makes me sick! I sincerely regret opening an account with this stupid organisation. I opened an account with this bank a few months back. Phumeza Dyasi made me wait for over 30 minutes before she arrived stating that she was with her HR talking about a bursary that she'd been waiting for and I kept my cool but was not happy. Thereafter, EVERYTIME I sent a query, she would ask for my business name details, the same business details that I had sent initially. She eventually stopped answering me in April. I then sent a complaint to their complaints department in May and an Anitta Cewana said they would provide a response on or before 03/06/2025 and to date, it's been crickets e even after a follow up email was sent. I went to go close my account today only to be hit with charges close to R300 before I could close it. This is the same account that's suppose to be R45 a month. I regret ever interacting with this institution and anyone wanting to open a business account with them, DONT DO IT!
I am scathing with anger. We called yesterday and was assisted by a nice lady. We gave our number and she managed to obtain our details. Today, we call again as a follow-up and give the same number. Their representative by the name of Nkosinathi answers the call and states that the number we gave is incorrect. We ask a simple question of how is that possible when everything was fine the day before, he becomes increasingly rude and I ask him not to speak to us that way and he drops the call. How dare you drop a call as if we are calling your personal phone. I don’t care what your excuse is, you do not conduct yourself like that in a professional environment, it’s unbecoming and infuriating. Nkosinathi, whoever you are, you should take note on how to deal with people from Reese and get out of the service industry. Thank you Reese for your wonderful assistance and helping us resolve our query. You Nkosinathi, need to check yourself.

I write this communication to relay my greatest gratitude to Mr Happy Madolo. I was scheduled to board a bus from the Midrand station to EL on the 17th of December. I had arrived 30 minutes before departure but this bus was running late. I then asked another of your buses that was offloading people thinking it was my bus and I was simply told that it was not the bus to EL, the bus Mr Madolo was assisting on then arrived and I then again asked if that was the bus to EL to which he informed me that it was not. But he didn’t just stop there, he literally took my bag, ran with me to the other side of the station where I should have been, but didn’t know that, requesting for me to catch a lift with the other buses heading to Park station so I can catch mine and when that didn’t work, was quick to move to a meter taxi to make my way to park station. I made it to park station and boarded my bus to see my family because of him and I cannot even begin to tell you how greatful I am to him for going out of his way to help me like that. My previous experience with your services has not been great before but he has redeemed my faith in your company and humanity. His kindness and assistance is something I will never forget. Thank you Mr Madolo for what you did for me, words cannot express how greatful I am.
I am about done with this bank. This is a second case of fraudulent activity happening on my account and they don’t seem to give a damn. At the beginning of this week, I received several notifications on unauthorised transactions that failed to go through on my account. I then check my statement and realise that two other transactions went through for smaller amounts with bogus references like sgthe.com and I’ve also been charged for the failed transactions. I then try to call them but give up because the waiting time was too long. I send an email informing them of my situation and asked them to urgently call me back. I get nothing but an acknowledgment of my email for about 24 to 48 hours so I decide I need to call them. I call and speak to some lady with a name that starts with an M. I tell her my situation and request that she lodges a fraudulent case so I can find out where it originated from. I must note that the first fraud that happened on my account was through Microsoft and that ofcourse didn’t go in my favour because that’s synonymous with the brand Capitec for their clients to be defrauded and left out in the lurch. When I request for an investigation, I hear her sounding dumbfounded and she says something along the lines of you want an investigation for such little amounts and I emphasis to her that I do. She then puts me on hold until I eventually have to drop and she doesn’t even bother to come back to me. I’ve stopped my card now but I received another notification of a failed attempt to debit my account for an amount of 9990USD. I’m livid now because the bank clearly doesn’t care and stopping my card does not help. I’ve just received a call from their collections department for a missed credit card payment instead of calling me about the breach. I explain the situation to the lady and state that I wish to lodge an official complaint and guess who drops the call midway through my explanations. It’s been over 2 hours now and she hasn’t called back either. Exceptional service from both these two ladies. 👏🏽 This bank makes me sick!!!! It trends on twitter every other day for this nonsense and I am done!!!!!! If your staff won’t listen to our grievances and help then we’ll have to post on all the social media platforms then as a means of getting assistance as well as involving the OMBUD. This treatment is disrespectful and eradicates any positive views I had with this bank. I would like for you to contact me back confirming whether you will be investigating my matter or not and I certainly want to know what will be done about your two staff that ooze negligence and lack of care. We work very hard for our salaries and it doesn’t matter whether it’s 2cents taken, it’s my money and my account and it shouldn’t be just a matter of changing bank cards, which I will be charged for. You need to do more for YOUR clients because your reputation is in shambles and continues to be *****ed. You are an accountable institution! Your service in handling fraud is poor and very questionable to put it VERY mildly.
Highly ****ed off with RJ in Hemingways. I make a booking reserving the place from 12:00 to 16:00 for a kids birthday party. The waiter forces us to order drinks and meal immediately stating that parties are two hours only. That 99 package consists of a meal, popcorn, candy floss amongst other things and they expect kids to finish all of this within two hours. The manager/owner then comes in acting cheeky with an attitude saying that she didn’t hear me say 12:00 to 16:00 for the reservation and emphasis on the two hours. Are they saying that a person must not book and just pitch up or else you’re restricted to two hours when you book?! Terrible service and I see it with the other reviews here that not only do they provide bad service, they provide bad food too.
Me writing here is a last resort from continuous requests that have not been attended to. I don't know how many times I have requested that my limit be not increased, I don't know how many consultants I have spoken to that have promised that my request will be actioned but yet I receive phone calls asking me to increase my limit and I say no and yet my limit keeps going up. I am beyond frustrated, maybe with me writing here, I will be listened to.
