My business is banking with Standard Bank. Very recently SB decided to update their online verification. This has now devolved into an extremely onerous process. Certainly unsuitable to routine business online logon. You must provide an email address. Then open the mobile app on cellphone. Then scan the QR code. And unbelievably complete another screen with card number and pin code. Obviously SB has no grasp of running a business !! We cannot spend our time jumping through ill conceived loops.
Attempted to obtain an insurance quote for buildings, contents and vehicles. I have a 7 year no claim record on all three vehicles. Entered into e-mail correspondence with Virseker Sales Consultant. No response - entered into e-mail conversation with second Sales Consultant. It is now about ten days ago. Zero response forthcoming. Time wasters !

We have been caught by the Tile Africa discount trick. We requested a quotation and asked for quantity discount. Decided on the specific tile as it fell within our budget. Collected the first batch. But on collection of the second batch 3 weeks later, we were forced to pay a higher price. Neat strategy !!
Exceptionally pathetic administrator for SANLAM Gap cover. People seem to be illeterate Sole goal is to obstruct and delay claim payments
