Very happy with Afrihost as our internet service provider
Since we signed a fibre contract with Afrihost about 5yrs ago, we have had hardly any internet issues. Recently the internet was out because we accidentally bent the fibre cable; the supporting technician was quick to arrive and replace the cable.

Fraudulent accounts and now way of reporting it
I received an OTP via SMS for opening a new account with MTN and that if I wasn't opening an account I should report this to 083135. So I phoned this number, but it does not allow you to report anything and it does not lead to an operator. So I emailed their fraud line, which automatically referred me to phone 083135. Then I contacted their whatsapp number, which was also only an automated response system.

Telkom creates fraudulent accounts when they have your banking details
Good day, for the second time now Telkom has opened a fraudulent account on my name. I have opened a fraud case at Telkom, but they still insist on withdrawing money from my bank account until the fraud case has been resolved. I was told that such fraud cases can take months to be resolved. So while Telkom still gets their fraudulent money, I can't buy groceries. I can go to my bank to reverse the debit order, but that will incur bank charges and possibly create a negative credit score on my name with the credit bureau. Everyone I contact at Telkom, just tells me to wait.
