What is happening at OVHD?
I can't find PVR sticks anywhere. One seller says they have been withdrawn because they don't work. Also, there was a lot of promotion of BBC UKTV channel but it has now disappeared. What is happening.

Takealot Tactics
Typical Takealot.com I ordered a pasta machine but they sent the wrong one. When I requested a replacement with the correct one they went through a whole process then lied by saying that the correct item is not available. However, it is still on their site but now its more expensive. I know because I just ordered it. This is not the first time this has happened

Seven Arrows "Securuty"... I think not
What a ridiculous bunch of idiots. I have been telling them 4 4 years that I no longer live in a complex in Germiston and moved to the Cape in 2016. Undeterred they are still sending SMS's and the odd phone call, 8 SMS's in the last 2 days.... 7 battery low and 1 panic. Why would you notify a person in Cape Town about a panic button in Germiston.

FNB declines debit orders without warning
Yesterday, FNB declined debit orders for my rent and medical aid while the money was sitting in my savings pocket and I, at 64 years old, had forgotten to transfer it. They send SMSs for all sorts of ****, like buying lotto tickets trough them, but when it comes to declining your essential payments, there is no warning SMS. If your account is overdrawn, they are quick to tell you to correct it but when they are about to decline your debit orders, there is no warning. "HOW CAN WE HELP YOU" is pure lipservice.

Amazing Zero stove
I recently bought a 4 plate stove. For a R2500 gas stove, it is quite amazing. I bake a lot of biscuits and I have never come across an oven with better heat distribution. I use all 3 levels and find the consistency front to back and side to side is fantastic, way better than the Smeg and Elba that I have used in the past that have major hot spots.

Verimark parts backup.
I called my local Verimark (Kenilworth Centre) for a spare "transparent canister" for my Genesis Minimax vacuum cleaner. They told me to come in. I went there today and they didn't have the part but assured me they had it on order. However, Johannesburg does not always send the items they order. He could not tell me when I would get a spare part. Really, this is poor service and a 2.6 rating seems to be well deserved.
