It has been a pleasure dealing with Dotsure. when I took my cat to the vet and submitted a claim, it was paid timeously. The claim process was very straightforward. #DotsurePetFans
Pain free claim process, just emailed it through and was paid out quickly.
The mobile app is absolutely useless and there is no technical support. It often logs me out and doesn't accept my password or doesn't load when I'm at the gym entrance. It also doesn't log my attendance accurately.
Great customer car service and explanation from the client retention department on my annual premium increase and subsequent recalculation (when I asked).
Generally a good platform, however it's not easy to navigate sometimes (especially when simply wanting to "go back" to a previous page) My experience with withdrawing funds has been painful. You can't just mail them, instead you have to go through the help page. I keep getting an error on customer due diligence - submitted my bank details to confirm and the updated it but the error remains! It's almost been two weeks and there's no solution in sight.
Scrutinise ever deal on their website with a fine tooth comb! Often they have the same package for different prices or even worse the same phone features and a contract for vastly different prices e.g. with 1GB data and 200 mins for R679x24 vs only 100mb data and 0 minutes for R679x24 (for the same phone!!!) It's unbelievable
How do you give minus stars?? Absolutely appalling experience cancelling my MTN contract with the cooling off period. The contract sim was received on 4 June, it didn’t activate amd wasn’t working so I sent a cancellation request on 8 June. This was finally processed six days later (which according to the agent is the period it takes to cancel a contract!) as a result, this put me out of the cooling off period and I was charged an amount with line item UNDEFINED on the cancellation contract. So in order to cancel a contract, you should do it on the day you get it before any BENEFITS are activated because it takes MTN six days to process something and that will ALWAYS put you out of the cooling off period.
I was told to not go into the store due to COVID-19. Everything has moved online. I have not been able to use this Sim card since last week when I received it. All I received was the plastic card shaped holder, nothing else, no details on activation, no other information on the Contract, really not helpful. I went into the MTN store today, the guy said He had activated it, come home still not activated and I can’t use it. Mtn emails to tell me to do call the activation line (after already being in store) which I cannot call because if I use the Sim it says companion contract not able to call!!!!! Further the contract title I’ve received is not the one I signed up for. It’s supposed to be the 50 gig + 50 night owl + 10 home and 10 music BUT OTS CALLED THE 30gb made for home. Where are these documents? Really poor performance mtn.
I left some items in my room and the staff keep this at housekeeping before I could eventually track the items down two weeks later :)
Generally good experience except when trying to withdraw funds - lack of support and feedback. Submitted required documents for SOFV months ago and no reply and now trying again they are just ignoring the requests.
