Christmas tree I ordered online is nothing like what I received. For almost R800, I feel so cheated. So disappointed
I recently discovered Cielo cause I was looking for headboards. Decided to visit the one nearest to me, Alberton, and safe to say the service was nothing short of exceptional. Firstly I was assisted by the warmest and friendliest service agent, Judith, secondly, she was so professional and patient as I was making my selection. I ended getting a leather occassional as well. The bed frame I bought turned to be small as my mattress is extra long. By the time I made that discovery the packaging was damaged and I called to find out if I can swop the frame for a headboard. They assisted without any issues and within days the frame had been collected and a replacement delivered. The quality of the leather, fabric and craftsmanship is so stunning, not to mention the fair pricing of their furniture and wares. I am super happy and will definitely be recommending Cielo to anyone who cares to listen.
I had the Rain 5G WiFi connected for use at my house. It's been one stressful ride, with little to no connectivity. The past two months have been particularly bad as I have not had any connection, despite paying the full amount. Worst part was my daughter had to go to a friend's house to complete her tertiary assignment because of the lack of connectivity at my hose. I tried several times to explain my frustration when calling their call centre. All those times they promised to resolve my issue to no avail. Anyway I then took a decision to cancel. I pressed the option "number 4" to cancel and held for an entire ten minutes. It's like the cancellation calls are not picked up. I then tried on the app - which does not have the cancellation option. I logged on the website and lo and behold! when I tried to click on the cancellation link, it does not work! Nothing happens. I clicked till I turned blue in the face. What a horror story that Rain is.
April Last year I called the Isoboard head office needing a quote. Satisfied with the price, I then requested a good installer that they could recommend. A contractor named Given was recommended. I gave him a call and we arranged for the installation. Once installed, I noticed that the workmanship was shoddy to say the least. A lot of filler was used in most places to cover measurements that were off etc. what concerned me the most, however, was when the cornice started undoing from the tile. Whatever glue they used could not hold, which has now resulted in gaps between the wall and cornice. My biggest gripe is when the actual board started unattaching from the ceiling. It’s basically falling off. During this entire time I made several calls to Given to come fix the issues, way before they escalated. He promised several times to come, to no avail. This ceiling is making my entire kitchen renovation look shabby to say the least. It is extremely embarrassing and I’m so disappointed at Given. The Isoboard brand is being tarnished by such shoddy installers and frankly I’m finding it extremely hard to recommend Isoboard to anyone
So after weeks and weeks of waiting for the Get More people to call me back, effecting my cancellation, I finally got a call. I spoke to the agent and she promised that an sms confirming the cancellation will be sent to me. Am still waiting. Also waiting to find out when they’ll refund all the unauthorised debits from 2016.
Just had such an awesome experience with King Price. The high prices of everything, from food to interest rates etc. have really put a strain on my finances. So this morning I called King Price to review my policy. I dealt with Maurice Valla who was such a champ. So professional and helpful. He actually also reminded me that I’ve been with King Price for 6 years and 8 months, which makes me a valuable client to them. Smile on my face. After the review, I save about R400. It will definitely come in handy in these trying times. Awesome service from Maurice
So after I wrote my review here, complaining about the GetMore added subscription from Cell C, an agent responded privately to get more information from me. Eventually another agent called and promised to escalate the matter. She assured me that someone from Get More will contact me to cancel the subscription. And she also assured me that I’ll be reimbursed from the initial time I called to cancel - also that they will investigate to assess whether I gave consent to take up this added service or not. That if I did not consent, then I’ll have to be reimbursed from 2016 - which is when the Get More thing was initiated. It’s safe to say that to date, no one has called me back (this was last week). Today I called the Get More number and stated the reason for my call. The agent asked me to hold while she gets another agent to speak to me. I held for almost 13 minutes then the phone just cut off. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement
Cell c added a Get more subscription to my contract without my knowledge. I’ve tried countless times to have it removed from my package without success. I logged a call with cell c and they gave me a get more number to cancel, cause they couldn’t do it from their end. I then called the get more number. They noted my request and said a consultant will call to cancel. Consultant eventually calls, after months, to tell me that I’m not making use of my benefits. I tell him cause I want nothing to do with getmore. He still wants to tell me about benefits. Needless to say, the call ended without that thing being cancelled from my contract. What a nightmare!!
