***** Installer recommended by IsoBoard Thermal Insulation · Durban
We had the Isotherm Insulation done on two Ceilings and a few other smaller areas, over a year ago. At the time we were advised to use a person called Vivian and was told he is only person installing the product in Durban. Vivian was recommended to us by Isoboard Thermal Insulation Durban Branch (Unit 13, Rinaldo Industrial Park, 50 Moreland Drive, Redhill). Not too long after the installation one of the rooms, the ceiling started to warp in the middle, we called Vivian and he advised he will come out. To date he seems to be avoiding coming out and the ceiling has gotten worst, now we not sure if the product he installed is of poor quality or his workmanship as an installer for the product is the issue. We paid him a lot of money and he quoted us to do other areas, but after the issue with the one ceiling we have decided to hold off using the product. Disappointed with Isoboard
April Last year I called the Isoboard head office needing a quote. Satisfied with the price, I then requested a good installer that they could recommend. A contractor named Given was recommended. I gave him a call and we arranged for the installation. Once installed, I noticed that the workmanship was shoddy to say the least. A lot of filler was used in most places to cover measurements that were off etc. what concerned me the most, however, was when the cornice started undoing from the tile. Whatever glue they used could not hold, which has now resulted in gaps between the wall and cornice. My biggest gripe is when the actual board started unattaching from the ceiling. It’s basically falling off. During this entire time I made several calls to Given to come fix the issues, way before they escalated. He promised several times to come, to no avail. This ceiling is making my entire kitchen renovation look shabby to say the least. It is extremely embarrassing and I’m so disappointed at Given. The Isoboard brand is being tarnished by such shoddy installers and frankly I’m finding it extremely hard to recommend Isoboard to anyone

Bad Service
After placing an order last Friday, we were told that they will not be able to deliver because they are fully booked due to the end of the year. They told us we could collect on Monday, today 10.12.2018 after 10am. We phoned to make sure seeing that we had to hire a trailer to collect ourselves. They said that our order would be ready at 12:30. When we arrived at 12:30 everybody was on lunch, so we had to wait for an hour. Once somebody eventually came to assist, we found out that our order hadn't even been done yet. We had to wait for another hour. This place has got pathetic service. I know it is the end of the year, but there are people who are had up for work. Then you get places like this that don't want to assist. Pathetic

Overcharged me and wont refund me
I purchased Isoboard ceilings and cornices from the Pretoria branch of Isoboard / Isofoam. The extremely rude sales lady, Alida, over charged me and I picked up the error after she had swiped my credit card but before I took delivery. She refused to reverse the transaction even though she admitted it was her mistake. She claims it would be reversed shortly by the head office in Cape Town. A week later I am still waiting for my money.<br> <br>
