There are so many complaints about this company - they been HARASSING me too. They actually usually 'PREY' on vulnerable people. I have now laid a complaint about the company with the Public Protector. I would implore you all to do the same against them; and also ******** ******ION charges. They a HUGE ******** ******ion organisation....Lets SHUT THEM DOWN ONCE-AND-FOR-ALL!!

You CANNOT email Shoprite complaints/ customer service. 'SUBMIT button simply does NOT work. Maybe they will take note here - this is the email I wanted TO SEND (but unfortunately they don't like complaints...so made it impossible to complain): Good day Team With ALARM I mut raise this issue! Going into Shoprite liquors in Fish Hoek - you are obliged to leave all your groceries/ bags/ rugsack/ bag at the door with security. Understandable. Please have a look at the 'area' where all bags must be left...right by security at the door. Unfortunately your security must check all items leaving the shop vs the till slip - so he has no time to keep an eye on people's bags/ groceries they have left there. Again understandable....HOWEVER...I always thought it's simply my imagination and I have been careless; but when I get home - I suddenly realise a lot of my groceries are missing?? My personal feeling - there is a little 'syndicate' operating at Fish Hoek Liquor store....wait for people to put all their groceries down at entrance to shop...pretend they going to buy something...then pick their packets up at the door...WHILE THEY HELPING THEMSELES IN OTHER PEOPLE'S GROCERY BAGS!! Yesterday I was at the Liquor store...got home...jar of mayonnaise+ packet of sugar + packets of pepper etc not in my shopping bags...which I bought! JUST THOUGHT i SHOULD BRING THIS TO YOUR ATTENTION - i''M SICK OF BUYING GROCERIES...AND AT THE LIQUOR STORE THERE IS A GREAT CHANCE A LOT OF IT WILL BE ******! Why do FNB constantly have problems with their PayPal. If you don't get an error E-96 forbidding you access; you get a different error code of sorts. Again I am trying to withdraw fom Paypal - this time at the last step before getting the 'quote'; it keeps giving an error message that there was a system error and you must "try again later". Please explain FNB? There is NEVER any response to emails sent to Paypal enquiries!
AGAIN Capitec does not pay lotto winning into my account. ready my previous posts here. I am now chatting on WhatsApp to their customer service - THE EXCUSE....they having problems with paying lotto winnings in to clients accounts. HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON?????? - reiterates what I said in previous posts here - THEY REFUSE TO PROPERLY INVEST IN IT STAFF/ TECHNOLOGY....probably do it on the cheap (The CEO etc need HUGE bonuses....so they probably would rather not INVEST money in the bank/ decent staff/ proper maintenance of technology/ App etc. CAPITEC BANKING APP GOES DOWN REGULARLY; AND MORE OR LESS RELIGIOUSLY AT MONTH-END - that proves what I say about them not caring about clients...ONLY PROFITS!!!
Capitec is without a doubt the WORST bank in SA!! Their APP/ system/ online banking etc CONSTANTLY GOING DOWN. They are obviously only in the business of *****ing your money and NOT OFFERING ANY SERVIE YOU PAY FOR!!!. They also (seems) WILL NOT invest in a DECENT I.T. team to resolve their ALWAYS/ CONSTANT AND ONGOING PROBLEMS. The CEO should be SO ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!!.....and FIRED EARNING SUCH A FORTUNE, BUT CAN'T EVEN RUN A BANK PROPERLY!
FOR ALL THOSE THAT HAVE TO SEEN THIS POST OF MINE - I AM PASTING IT HERE AGAIN.....AND GUESS WHAT!!??...as soon as I had posted this...MIRACULOUSLY the missing R19.60 lotto winning was credited to my account this morning!!...NO COMMUNICATION ....APOLOGIZING/ EXPLAINING WHY it was creditted DAY later (and ONLY after I posted)??...SO AGAIN I URGE ANYONE WHO HAS PLAYED A LOTTO TICKET/S ON YOUR CAPITEC APP TO CHECK YOUR TICKETS......I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE WON..AND NOT GOT THEIR WINNING...CAPITEC KEEPS IT! ...Until such time you QUERY it!...you do something like I have done by posting on here - Capitec SUDDENLY pays attention!...WHY?...because they got 'caught with their hand in the cookie jar'...and EXPOSED! Watch the standard reply they will give...they will get back to you in 24 hours...and the you NEVER hear from Capitec...instead of just admitting their faults...THEY ARE DRAGGING THEIR COMPANY NAME INTO THE GROUND....Whoever heads up Customer Service...SHOULD BE FIRED!!! Read my post yesterday... - they just 'implicated' themselves in what I have been saying:
TRY getting any help on Capitec WhatsApp! F'ing impossible!! The stupid system can't answer ANYTHING...will just tell you it is there to assist and it is still learning! What a load of BULL***. Not sure how many of you have debit orders authorized on your Capitec account...WHICH YOU NEVER AUTHORIZED!!...you did not ACCEPT the DebiCheck; YET Capitec will allow the 3rd party to track money coming into your account... and debit the minute money comes into your account. Not sure...maybe Capitec gets a small 'commission' on every ******* debit on customers account they allow through. I have TRIED AND TRIED AND TRIED to tell them to cancel the debit orders on my account....offered to send all the emails to them between myself and the service provider trying to debit my account...to NO AVAIL...Capitec refuses to cancel debit orders on my account. If any of you experience the same situation; and Capitec allows an UNAUTHORIZED debit order through...SUE THEM! I'm sure they 'collude' with these 'service providers'......Capitec is becoming a rIdiculous bank to deal with....try finding an ATM that doesn't have 50 people waiting in the que...and then 90% OF TIME THEIR MOST OF THEIR MACHINES/ SYSTEMS ARE OUT OF ORDER.....MAYBE TIME TO CHANGE BANKS...BUT THEY ALL THE SAME I SUPPOSE...JUST GREEDY AND ONLY LOOK AFTER THEIR OWN PROFITS (DID YOU SEE THE CEO'S BONUS LAST YEAR???!!!!...YIP...YOU PAID FOR IT WITH YOUR FEES + S**T SERVICE
We recently moved over to Afrihost. There were one-or-two small 'hick-ups'; but the service received was outstanding! Problems were resolved extremely quickly. As for their CEO Gian - he deserves a 'CEO of the Year award! What a professional guy! I would recommend Afrihost to anyone (especially compared to some of the other providers)
