I bought a second hand Ford ranger from them in April this year, vehicle was basically brand new +- 28000km on the clock. After about 4 months and 3000 km the front tyres were worn completely on the inside, which according to them is normal wear and tear. I informed them that according to the consumer rights act I have a 6 month warranty period and that it was within my right to request that they replace the two front tyres. Again they said that it was normal wear and tear and not there responsibility, I asked them for proof that the vehicle went for wheel alignment before they sold it to me, but they could not or would not send me a wheel alignment report, thus I believe it was an existing problem and the vehicle was sold to me like that. At least they offered to get me new tyres through there Motus network that I would have to pay for myself, I'll give them that pathetic attempt at customer service. Further more on the day they delivered the car when we did an inspection, the original ford jack was missing and one of the center caps for the rims was missing, they replaced the jack with a cheap AutoZone jack and I am still waiting 6 months later for the center cap they promised to send me. After I posted a review on Google, they rep**** and said I should contact customer support, but they were CCD in every email from the start and never intervened to try and assist, so much for customer service. So if you buy a second hand car from them, as soon as the paperwork is signed, don't expect any after sales service from them.
I emailed Lazarus Mazda to get a quote on a part, I also requested a part nr so that I can compare quotes like any normal person would do. I had to request the quote two times, before someone finally replied. Not only was the reply horribly written and very rude, the salesman flat-out refused to give me a part nr. So what they are basically saying is, either accept our VERY expensive quote, or you cant be certain you get the right part from someone else. Certainly if you own a vehicle that is out of manufacturer warranty, you have a right to buy parts or repair your vehicle with whom ever you see fit? Furthermore where is a customer supposed to get this information from, if not from the manufacturer that made and sold them the vehicle?
I went for a rapid test at Ampath Jean avenue on the 7th of Jan 2022. It is now almost a month later and I haven't received my results, not a single SMS or email. Reception staff is very rude and apparently incompetent, their service is pathetic. So if you want to pay for a Covid test and never receive the results go and test at Ampath Jean Avenue.
I applied for a Fibre installation through Afrihost the last week of May. The first week of June Openserve came to install the connection, but the realized there is already a Fibre connection on the property as the property is sub divided. they told me the have to apply for a second ONT and the technician left. Now a month later several emails and complaints later they still haven't returned to install the Fibre. You cant really contact Openserve directly and Afrihost keep on telling me they will escalate it with Openserve. So in a time where allot of us are working from home trust Openserve and Telkom to keep you waiting for month without Internet.
Telkom did maintenance in our neighborhood . They sent me an SMS saying that our service might be interupted for a day, with a stabilization period of 48 hours. This was 3 weeks ago and I still have little to zero internet. I logged a fault 4 days after the maintenance and they still have not done anything about it and no one has contacted me regarding this. I took it up with them on their Facebook page and they assured me someone would see to it shortly and still nothing has happened. I am sick and tired of paying these people for no service, because to say their service is poor would imply they give any service at all.
