I have been struggling for 8 months to get NETCASH to successfully debit my account for my contract with Cybersmart. Despite sending bank confirmation of banking details and completing a new debit form they are still unable to do this. Meanwhile Cybersmart keep suspending my website. Avoid companies that use NETCASH if you want to preserve your sanity!
Never try to set up a debit order with their accounts department or with Netcash that they use. I have been struggling for 8 months now. Still no success despite sending 3 confirmations of Bank details, plus a new debit form. Meanwhile they keep suspending my website.
I opened an account with this bank because they do fast payments between clients and their fees are reasonable. However their app and online banking are a nightmare to use as both demand selfies before you do payments, even for amounts less than R100 to clients you have paid before. You cannot get to do any online banking without a selfie. Their selfies do not work for me. I do not have great connectivity and although it is fine for most things, the CAPITEC app selfies always fail to go through. The little image just goes round and round and round endlessly. I have visited the branch and had a new image taken, I have written to their complaints dept. Nothing helps and it seems I will need to use a bank who does things simply to do my payments. I cannot understand why they implement a technology that does not work for some people and do not make it optional.
This is a great initiative. I live far from town in the Western Cape, but there is a PUDO locker at the local store. I sent a small parcel to a friend in Kei Mouth ( small place in Eastern Cape) and it was there within 3 days. It only cost R49. This service is run by the Courier Guy and they are also great. The only complaint is the PUDO website takes a bit of getting used to. You need to pay- have a positive balance- before you can book a locker. Click on your balance to activate the pay screen.
This must be is the worse courier company in South Africa. I bough a SIM card online from MTN on 29th Nov. It was supposed to be delivered in 1-2 days. DSV finally tried to deliver on 11 December. The biometrics failed so they took the package away. MTN contacted me to 12 Dec to say a manual delivery was approved. This finally happened on 19 Dec, but DSV have lost details of this delivery so SIM has still not been activated by MTN as of 31 Dec, over 1 month since I bought it. The Cape Town branch of DSV seems especially bad and they never answer their phone.
I Bought a SIM card contract on a Black Friday special with MTN online on 29th November. They said it would be delivered with 1-2 days. DSV the courier company they use is useless and they only tried to deliver on 11 December. The biometrics failed ( which the courier said often happens) and they had no backup proceedure, so the courier took the package away. Finally (after numerous calls and emails by me) on 19 Dec a manual delivery took place. However the SIM is still not active ( as of 31 Dec) as DSV seem to have lost the record of the delivery and have not passed on details to MTN to activate the SIM. MTN do not appear upset by this fiasco. My email complaint of 4 days has still not been responded to.
Dischem cheat their customers with a shortfall in the number of pills in their vitamin bottles. I have started checking and would advise everyone to open the bottle in store before paying and check the number of capsules especially the Dischem gold senior vitamin s. There should be 30 capsules in the bottles. Last time I bought there were 28, this time there are only 25. Maybe they think old people cannot count!!
