Checkers Mayville, Pretoria – Black Friday Experience On the Black Friday advert it clearly stated that Checkers would open at 07:00 from 27 to 29 November 2025. However, on 27 November they opened at 06:00, and on 28 November they only opened at 09:00. Customers were already waiting to go in, and we were told the store would only open at 09:00 on the 28th. Many of us prefer doing our shopping early before it gets too busy. A big thank you to Danie and Collin for their kindness and willingness to assist. Danie phoned a cashier in the office so customers could start shopping earlier than expected, and both of them helped me pay for my item quickly and efficiently. Thank you, Danie and Collin, for your excellent service!

Poor Service at Wimpy Mayville Mall, Pretoria Waited to be served while one staff member stood by the till doing nothing, and another saw me waiting but didn’t bother to help. No wonder there aren’t many customers — service like this drives people away! Then they cry there's no customers. Now you know why. Management should fire them. Get staff who wants to work. There are lots of people who's looking for work!

Poor service at Absa Bank I had a faulty card and went to the branch for help. The lady assisting me kept yawning and took her time. She told me to try the ATM — it worked then, but the next day the same error came back. She should’ve just given me a new card. Very disappointed with the service. Appoint personnel who wants to work!
Why is it that only 2 Burger Kings in Pretoria CBD can deliver at night🤬 I placed an order at 19:50 it's 21:46 and still no food is delivered. When you call they say they're too busy you must send an email. Maybe Burger King Arcadia should appointment more staff and drivers to assist This is surely unprofessional. Customers are extremely frustrated with the staff at the Electric Department of Cosave Zandfontein, Pretoria. The staff on duty was completely unhelpful and showed no interest in assisting customers. While I was speaking to them and asking for assistance, they simply carried on talking among themselves, ignoring my requests. This behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. It gives your company a bad name. We urge you as Manager to address this issue immediately. Staff who refuse to assist customers properly. You are chasing away customers and giving your Company a Bad Name! The previous staff was always helpful and kind at the Electric Department
MWEB is beyond pathetic. The internet drops every single day and makes it impossible to work on the computer. I am paying for a service that brings nothing but stress and frustration. Every time I phone, the so-called “technical department” just makes a quick adjustment, but the problem is never fixed. The connection is still not in proper working order. This is nothing more than empty promises and excuses. It’s time MWEB stops wasting customers’ time and money and finally provides the reliable service we are paying for.
MetroFibre is absolutely pathetic. I struggle every single day with the internet connection. The signal is unreliable, keeps dropping, and makes it impossible to do even the simplest online tasks. This isn’t just about watching videos or browsing — work must be done on the computer, and with this unstable internet, it’s nearly impossible to get anything done. It causes unnecessary stress and wasted time. I’m paying for a service that fails to deliver what is promised. MetroFibre needs to stop ignoring customers, fix their network properly, and provide the reliable service people are paying for. Maybe then they will finally become reliable and give customers what they deserve.
I have been with Dr. de Beer for 15 years on Flexicare. Then, without my decision, Dr. Ade Ban was removed from Flexicare. The doctor was also unaware that he had been taken off so suddenly. What right does Discovery have to exclude a doctor who has been with them for years? It was very poor service from Discovery. We then moved to the Smart Plan, and they refuse to include my doctor on their panel.
