Before when purchasing from Takealot, u have items over R500 in your cart and u don’t pay the delivery fee. Now with takealotmore, if you don’t subscribe to pay them R39pm I must pay R79 for delivery regardless off the items in my cart. What the hell. I don’t need to subscribe to something if I’m not gonna be using like every month, so for that I must pay R79 for delivery. Stuff u takealot
Worst Internet Service Provider ever. My contract ended with them and I have sent cancellation letter to them and all was processed but they still debited my account 1 month later, when I did call to enquire they told me the cancellation will go of on the 12th of June, so I said fine but was debited the full amount or R1299, so they informed me that I will get a refund of +-R830 in 8 working days. When I didn't get the refund I did contact them again to my surprise they have told me to send a letter from my bank with my account details for them to process the refund. I was so ****ed off, I told the call centre person, you'll have been debiting my account for 2 years but when I request a refund I must produce a letter from the bank, so I told her very nicely to keep the money, you'll will get rich. MORCLICK IS WORST THAN ****.
I have had an issue with my 2017 Macbook Pro on 2021 December, sent the Macbook to Macwave and was quoted over R3000 for the repair for a backlight cable replacement, which I have paid, Macwave has also said the lid was dented, which was true but it had a slight dent but the lid was like new, not a scratch on it and my camera was working. When Macwave sent my Macbook Pro back to me, I saw the Lid that was changed, not only was it scratched with marks all over it, I had no camera and the rubber next to screen is also damaged, but I didn't mind at first as my screen was working and I could carry on with my work. But 5 months later, I have the same issue. The cable had a 6 months warranty. So I contacted them back and sent the Macbook to them. The next day I get a quote for repair again for Backlight cable replacement of R2187.50 which is just for labor. I have called and complained that this is unacceptable, the macbook wasn't repaired properly in the 1st place and this isn't my screen but they are adamint it is, so I asked the lady (Zena) she said they changed the Lid and maybe the Lid had no camera, so I don't have a camera anymore, and I must pay again for the repair. This is an outrage. So I told Zena to send my macbook back to me with the cable and I'll get it repaired myself. Am not happy with the service I have received. If a backlight cable was changed I shouldn't be having this issue in 4 to 5 months.
I have bought a pair of Shoes end of April 2019 and it was Urban Art Brand, spent R600 on this pair of shoes, after using it for a few days in a month, the inner was worn out and uncomfortable. When I went to the store to return the item which was yesterday, they don't give refunds, and they will contact me when they get a response from their head office branch, this is the 1st time I have experienced this, so I was a little shocked but I said ok. They phoned me later on that day to say my claim was approved and I can only do a swap and not a refund. They didn't have a pair of shoes that I wanted, and they could only offer me a voucher or a swap for another brand, I needed something more on the casual side for my work but there was only Urban art or Bronx that's was going to suit my needs, I ended up taking a pair of Hi-Tech shoes which I had to spend another R700, this is an outrage and I will never purchase from this store again.
I have my contract for the last 13 years, and I have never had issues before about upgrading online. My current contract I'm paying +-R1200. And know when I want to upgrade they tell me I can only upgrade to the value of R850 or so, the phone I want is the iPhone XS 256 which is R1240 or so, I have never been in arrears with my contract before. This is appalling service from a large company like Vodacom. I really don't want to move service providers, I love the network and the 4G speeds are the best but if I can't get the phone I want then the only option is to cancel the contract when the contract comes to and end.
