I have been trying to get my account with Eskom sorted out, but they just don't seem to want to help me. Eskom install a new smart meter at my plot, they said I don't have to submit the meter readings anymore as they have put in a smart meter. from September till November 2025 they billed me on estimates on the old meter and then in December the billed me from August 2025 till December 2025 on the new meter. I have been paying for a meter that I have been using and for a meter that was removed. I have been trying to contact them, but they do nothing. I went to Eskom park in Witbank and tried to go to the accounts department, they would not let me in and said I must go to the call center. I did but the security would not let me in, took my details . The call center phoned me once but I missed the call, I tried a few time to call them back but with no luck. Eskom has overcharged me and they don't want to talk to me or repay my money
In December 2024 I took out a contract with Vodacom, 600Gb Data for R399 for 36 month. only to find that in March 2025 they debited my account with R442 and some change. Now I would love to know how can you have a contract with a company for the amount of R399 for 36 months and then on the 3rd month into the contract they charge R442. How the hell does this work. Vodacom does not stick to their contract, they do just as they please. This is just outright theft. I am disgusted with them. How can they just do what they like
I live on a Plot and I get electricity directly from Eskom. In the beginning of the year the fuse on the one supply line kept blowing. I kept reporting it, they came and replaced the fuse. In February my borehole burnt out, then and my power supply to my gate motor also burnt out. In May the borehole pump burnt out again and the same with my power supply of my gate motor. I had to buy 2 borehole pumps and 4 gate motor power supplies. Eskom came in August to replace the fuse again and this time there was sparks coming out the transformer. The reason that the fuses kept blowing was due to a faulty transformer, the transformer was the cause of my borehole pumps and gate motor power supplies burning out. I registered a complaint with Eskom just after they replaced the transformer but they just ignore my complaint
I am very happy with Burger King, it is the only place that I eat take aways from, Their burgers are very nice, the staff are very friendly and the place is clean. I will go there again and again.
I have a mobile phone with Telkom, I am due for an upgrade, I have had agents phone with regards to this. I was not sure about which phone I wanted and asked them to phone me back in the next two days. This never happened. I went on line to order a phone, but there were so many question and Telkom has all the answers. So I asked for a call back. I gave them a time but they called back when they wanted. The agent asked me questions which I answered, until she came to the question of how much I earned, I told her I could not answer that question. There were people around. The agent then just said to me that she could not proceed and I must go into a store. I DO NOT WANT TO GO INTO A STORE. That was it. I can not believe the questions they ask. I am very disgusted with Telkom Cape Town
I went to Ferrogas in Middleburg and they were very helpful. I asked them for a guide wheel foe a Mig welder , I was told they they would get back to me just after 8 am. It was just before * and they phone me back with a price and said if I wanted it they could have it for me in two days time due to a public holiday. After the public holiday I went and collected my goods. Very good service
I am getting tired of McDonalds. In Witbank I stood in the que for a long time only to be told they dont have ice cream. I went to Middleburg, stood in the que for a long time, only to bet told they dont have any hot beverage. The next time I went to them I had to stand in the que for a very long time before I got served. They seemed understaffed. So I dont want to go into a McDonalds again
I live not to far from Klienkoppie mine, we have had meetings with the mine and I have told them how my house shakes, lucky it is a wooden house, but the cottage I had had cracks all over, now my work shop has cracks as well. They came and put a meter in at my place and when the guy came to fetch the readings I was there and when I asked him what the big spike was, he told me that they would have to analyse everything first. Well that was the last I saw of them. they removed the meter and were gone, this was years ago. but still this past weekend my house shook with the blast. Anglo American just does not give a dam what happens to anyone around them. Regards David

In July 2017 I took out a contract with Cell C for 20G of data and 20G data night time for R299.00 p/m. Every month everything was fine, when my data ran out my computer said to me limited data. That went on for over 18 months. At the end of February I got a bill for R800. I went into Cell C shop to see why 5 or 6 March, they said it was because it was uncapped. Why now. So I asked them to cap it, but I can not understand why after all this time does this happen. But they at the end of March I got another bill for R800. Again I asked WHY, they put me to different people and no one can give me a decent answer as to why
