DO NOT buy a HP computer! There is no after-sales service. Ostensibly this is done by Ensure Services. The first problem I had was a failed HDD and Ensure *****ed up the cloning to a new drive, losing most of the drive's information. The second time they took over 14 days to fix a keyboard. You cannot afford to buy HP products because you cannot get them repaired.

Let this be a warning to anybody who is thinking of dealing with Makro. Buyers also beware the other group companies - Game, Builders and CBW. On Black Friday, 25 November, I bought an Apple iPad as a Christmas present for someone. They said the parcel would be ready in 2-5 day's time. I heard nothing further from them, despite querying. Christmas approached. Repeated emails to the company did not even receive the courtesy of a personal response. Christmas passed and, sorry, no present for somebody. New Year passed. More emails again did not receive the courtesy of a response. It is now 4 January and still no response or explanation of what is going on. This behaviour is unbelievably appalling and is certainly not the standard at US parent Walmart, who I will be contacting about this affair. Locally, legal action will be the next step. It is no surprise that local parent Massmart has been such a disaster that it has been delisted; actually the company does not even deserve to exist.
Don't go near these crooks. Their work is very bad. A bobbejaan with a spanner could do a better job than them. Then they charge you two times as much as other security companies. Regte skelms!
This company (formerly Chubb) is seriously dysfunctional. Their operations are incompetent and their accounts are a shambles. Worst, the people you deal with dont care and escalating gets zero response from middle management. Use anybody else. We moved to Mantis and never looked back.
This appears to be a fake site. The bottom line is that you give them your money and they don't send you what you paid for. All you get is promises and lies. And good luck in trying to get your money back.
This is a terrible company with terrible service. Incompetent and completely disinterested in helping you. They do not keep any stock and spares. Do not use them for ANY of the products they supposedly support.
